I didn't want to use the same mechanic, especially after hearing one of them used my truck to get their lunch, after I was told it was in a test drive. Then I found this mobile mechanic. Anthony came out, and in less than 30 minutes he had fixed my power steering for $75. I gave him a tip, and was very relieved. Some of the work he did for me I had also gotten quoted at another shop and his out-the-door price was considerably lower than what I was quoted. That was my first time in. I just took my 2012 Kia soul which is extremely high mileage to him for some work. I had been having issues with my charging system and several places I went to (Auto Parts places) said my alternator was fine and my battery was fine. I described the issues I had to Jon and as I suspected he found the alternator was bad. It was not charging the battery properly and was not putting out the full voltage required. I had priced alternators for this car and a quality alternator was approximately $375 at an auto parts store if I did the labor. Jon charged me about $375 for a lifetime warranty alternator and less than $100 for the installation. He also had it ready a day earlier than promised. Once again freedom Automotive earned my five star review. I found out that Jon had also worked at a Kia dealership early in his career. He also did work for a friend of ours who was told that their Isuzu diesel delivery truck needed a new fuel pump for over $1,500. His diagnosis was that the second fuel filter was clogged and the fuel pump was fine. His work saved them close to $1,000. Before you go somewhere else and get a misdiagnosis I would call Freedom. I didn't believe them and told them to put it back together and I would get a second opinion. Took it to a body shop in Montgomery. They too couldn't find the leak, but said it was not the A/C pan. Charged me 225 and did not fix. I was then recommended to call SS. Told them the problem. He told me that they would not charge me 1 cent if he couldn't find the issue. I left the car with him and Before I got home, he called me and sent a video of the leak. He found it. He repaired it and dried out the carpet and fixed everything for like $1200. Over $2000 less that the dealer wanted and it turned out not to be the issue the dealer said it was. They are honest, quality service, and great value. Highly recommended
