I purchased a fifth wheel in 2017 and bought the extended warranty from a local dealership. During the warranty my trailer was in the shop over 6-8 times. They never really fixed any of my problems. When my warranty ran out I still needed repairs. I took my trailer to Blackbird and they have fixed every issue in a timely matter. I would never purchase from that dealership again, and the extended warranty was a scam. I will continue to use Blackbird for any future repairs. read more

Revised-2 star; Yesterday we rigged up to pull out of the rv park and realized that while the radio was fixed, the wiring changes in the panel apparently disconnected the back up camera which no longer works. Probably would have been best if he waited until his electrician was back from holiday to take on an electrical project. Still a nice guy but for our needs probably not the best technician. The new shop took a look at the "fix" and said that it was not a good way to solve the radio issue. Chris had run a new wire from one pole of the horn fuse to the radio. Original post- 5 star: I called Blackbird RV for a broken awning, radio that lost power, generator that cut out while we were on the road, and an a/c that is cycling rapidly. I spoke to Chris who came out same day to take care of us because we are full timers on the road. He was super professional and very honest. It was impossible to figure out why the radio stopped working as a previous owner apparently used glue to install the radio and on other parts of the dash which prevented normal repair services. This did not stop Chris though. Chris is very creative and we worked together to talk through options and ultimately solved the problem! The A/C was running great while he was here and he recommended someone for the generator and awning. I highly recommend Chris as a legit choice to work on our RV if you happen to find yourself in the Magnolia TX area. Great attitude and problem solver! read more

We Chris you came through again. We live in or 42 ft trailer. Had water coming out from under cabinet and called blackbird and chris came to the rescue. Cannot say enough about Chris and Blackbird RV. We took our Travel Trailer to a repair shop we had used before to have some wiring work done on our solar system and a leak fixed. We were nervous about leaving the trailer when we got there and found out the place had changed hands. We were assured that all the techs had remained on staff and that they could do the work. Long story short, when we got the trailer back nothing worked anymore, neither solar nor shore power. And the leak was still there. After 2 days of trying to find someone to fix our trailer I found Blackbird RV repair. Called and Chris was able to come out 2 days later to take a look. He is not a solar repair guy, but I guess he felt sorry for me and said he would come see if he could do anything for me. He repaired our leak and studied the solar. He came up with a solution he thought would work but wanted to show it to someone else to see what they thought. A couple days later he was back with his drawing and set to work fixing our solar. He repaired everything and it is working great! Our shore power is working, our solar is working and there isn't a leak anymore. I highly recommend Blackbird RV for your service needs. I cannot say enough positive great things about this company. I am a first time user of an RV or camper. I purchased a used camper and obviously had a few problems. I'm in Tomball and I've used these guys twice. Both times Chris the son fixed our problems the same day. I called and he was out to my camp site within 10 minutes. Called Wednesday and sent some pictures to Chris and he came out Thursday morning. Both of my low point drain valves were leaking and Chris quickly assessed the situation and came up with a couple of alternatives and a recommendation, which I agreed with. His work was excellent and he took just over an hour. We needed water to test the system, so I had pulled my 5th wheel out of storage and he did the work in my driveway. We had an RV step that would not retract properly, and the motor made a disturbing grinding sound. Chris came out promptly at the time we agreed upon, quickly assessed the problem, and put in a used motor for us so that we could use the steps while the new motor was shipped. I live full time in my 5th wheel RV and Chris with BlackBird RV was a real-life saver for me. I had a technician (from another company) come and install a new fan on an A/C that worked fine. After he put in the new fan my A/C no longer cooled. This was on a Thursday, on Friday the "other" tech came out again, $314 later....and said I needed a new A/C :( and then he leaves for the weekend and says he will call me Monday. People....it gets really, really, hot in Texas in August and more so in an RV but this other guy didn't seem to care. Soooo, I tried cooling off my RV with my non-ducted bedroom unit and it started leaking water so I was out of A/C all together. I was more than miserable (and so were my fur babies). Found BlackBird RV's listing and gave Chris a call. He answered my call immediately listened to the problems I was having with both units. If you have ever had to call out a "mobile" RV repair in the summer you will know they stay very busy. He said he would try to squeeze me in between committed calls that he already had that day and he did just that! Within a couple of hours, he was at my place, he got me up and running with the non-ducted A/C by fixing the water leak so we could at least use that one (and I finally got a good night sleep) until he could get my new A/C unit in. And the next day he had my new unit installed!!! He followed up that evening with a text wanting to know if I was happy and if everything was done to my satisfaction. He was professional, did what he said he would do and polite as they come and very reasonably priced. I can't thank him enough.... if I ever need service again I won't hesitate to call him.
