Nice to see that Propane and Gas have been added as long as there is some competitive edge on pricing. Under new ownership since September 2024, we all are watching how the new owners will be handling this well known business and if positive improvements without higher costs on goods will be a factor to continue getting community support. Most of us can agree that their homemade pie vendor they switched to needs to go. Quality and quantity is sorely lacking in this product. And way way too pricey in this economy. This is a perfect example of what we are watching out for. Al beit known that whenever there are new owners things dont always change for the better. Greed sets in. Hope it doesn't happen here.. we will see. Again, the staff is the best with customers and hope they stay. To be a success, especially in small rural areas you must give back, not take more. People want this, need this and earned this! The volume of profits has proven that businesses will increase profits in time given and you wont have to meet high profit margins, they will come with what you established and the customer base will grow. Your best advertisement is word of mouth. It can also be your downfall in being successful. For every customer you lose, it takes 3 new customers to make up for that one you lost. Thank you Forest Lakes Grocer for reading our message. We hope you will be a community asset and we will always support honest effort in wanting to become established.

It was reopened last year after a much needed renovation. And the community here loves it !!! Gorgeously decorated country store that is well stocked with almost everything you need. Food 5/5 A popular feature is a local baker Shannon Fitzgibbons who brings a nice variety of fresh backed bread, fudge, pies, brownies, cookies and I'll vouch it is all Yummy! Lots of food dry goods, cold cuts, eggs, bacon, milk, soft drinks, cases of water, adult beverages, ice cream and so much more. We are very happy the new store is here and please stop in to patronize this family owned business, stop by and say hello to Ashley and the team! Be well my fellow Yelpers & see you in the next review!

We purchased a sourdough oatmeal crème pie and when I tell you it was the best thing I've eaten snack wise in a long time , it was delicious! The staff in the store were so lovely and laughed at my jokes. There was also a welcoming porch where some of the locals hung out on when entering the store. I will be stopping by again on my way home to get me another oatmeal cream pie.

Yelp Review - Walmart Supercenter #4355 (Taylor, AZ)…read more I had a frustrating experience at this Walmart on June 6 around 7:30 PM while trying to purchase the Apple Pencil Pro, which was listed on Walmart.com for $99 and marked as available for pickup at this store. The item was retrieved from in-store stock and scanned, but the price didn't match the online listing. When I explained I was in the process of purchasing it through Walmart.com, a manager was called over to help. That's when the situation went downhill. The manager immediately told me I couldn't get the online price unless I used Affirm (which wasn't true), then claimed the item had a different SKU (also false--it was confirmed to be the same). She kept shifting the reasoning to block the sale without checking policy or verifying anything I was showing her. I remained calm and respectful, but she continued to talk down to me and insisted I cancel the order--even though the item was in stock and ready. I even mentioned that I needed the item for an urgent project due the next day, but she showed zero concern and kept inventing new reasons I couldn't buy it. It felt more like a power play than a customer service decision. This isn't how any store should treat someone trying to make a legitimate purchase. I hope store leadership addresses this internally--because being dismissed and misled like this, especially in a small town, is unacceptable.

Cleane has everything good people. And the pick-up is fabulous i use it a lot. Too convenientread more

From the moment we walked up to the register, she never greeted us, smiled, or made eye contact. We had neatly stacked our groceries inside the basket to make checkout easier, but instead of politely asking us to take everything out, she abruptly told us to remove it all. We had no problem doing so--it was simply the way she spoke to us. My husband even made a lighthearted comment that we thought leaving everything neatly in the basket would make checkout easier, but instead of responding politely, she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. Throughout the entire transaction, she acted as though we were an inconvenience. She continued mumbling, handled our groceries carelessly, and when she finished scanning everything, she didn't tell us our total or even acknowledge us. She just stood there silently, staring at the register without looking at us or saying a word, leaving us wondering what she expected us to do. My husband finally asked, "Is that the total?" Instead of simply answering, she mumbled again, rolled her eyes with a nasty attitude, and immediately turned her attention to the next customer as if she was done with us--even though we hadn't even paid yet. After we completed the transaction, my husband still thanked her as we were leaving, but she didn't acknowledge him at all. She simply rolled her eyes again. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating customers with this level of disrespect. We weren't asking for anything special--just basic courtesy. A simple greeting, polite communication, and a little professionalism go a long way. Unfortunately, this was one of the rudest customer service experiences we've had, and I sincerely hope management addresses it so no one else has to be treated this way.

We stopped in on our last trip through Sedona, and what stood out immediately was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely nice. Not forced, not rehearsed. Just friendly in a way that makes a quick stop feel a little more relaxed. A couple of brief conversations, a few smiles, people actually acknowledging you. It's a small thing, but it sticks with you. The store itself is clean and well organized. Nothing confusing about the layout. You can get in, find what you need, and get out without wandering around wondering where anything is. Selection is solid across the board. Produce looked fresh, shelves were stocked, and there's enough variety that you're not settling for second choice items. Prices are about what you'd expect for the area. Maybe a touch higher in spots, but nothing surprising given the location. It's convenient, and sometimes that's part of the equation. Checkout was smooth, no long delays, no frustration. Just a straightforward experience from start to finish. It's not a destination grocery store, and it doesn't need to be. It's dependable, easy to navigate, and backed by people who actually seem to care a little. That alone earns it four stars.
