My family and I had a trip planned for this weekend. We arrived Wednesday evening after hours. We proceeded to our assigned camp site and the neighboring campsites had pop ups, picnic tables and chairs in our site. We reached out to the 24 hour number we were provided and were advised that nobody was onsite but to ask the people to move. We ended up on a FaceTime call with the manager who after a while told us to move to a different site that was severely un level and muddy. When we couldn't make that site work because it was only 30 amp and too small for our fifth wheel. We were told to move to yet a different site and we would figure it out in the morning. The next morning we were texted and told that we needed to move back to the original site. My wife walked over and all of the items were still in our site. The campground instructed us to tell the people to move. All though that shouldn't be our responsibility to do we did. The people said they would but instead left. After all of the issues we divided to leave. Nobody seemed to care at this point so we moved to a different campground. It was quite an experience. I would absolutely not recommend this place which is a shame because a year ago we had a great experience here. We were informed that the owners were a corporation and it truly shows. Campers paradise is an ironic name as there is nothing paradise about this place. read more

First off when calling to make sure we could put a tent on our rv site they told us they would have to charge us for a rustic site for the weekend $99 for 3 nights. So on-top of the $249 we had to pay $99 more for a tent on the same site. Ok so we paid it. But walking around this place i see people w tents on their sites with campers or multiple tents and i asked. A few people and they said they did not have to pay extra! not cool! Woke up on the first morning here and there was a flow of water coming from the ground. It had a bad smell to it and it was heading toward our site area. We had the ground manager come over and he told us "it was not sewage but it did smell bad". He did come back and offer us 2 sites (rem we had to pay for a rustic camp site for our tent) up closer to the playgrounds. This area was literally 20 feet from the pavilion, the giant campfire, bathrooms, volleyball court, and playground and our neighbors would literally be in the back of our picnic table.... NO space!!! So we choose to stay in our current spot. They did offer $25 off a day. So we stayed....later that day the water was getting worse, it is gray in color! This is not just ground water! Its some kind of water runoff from sewage somewhere. So we stopped a staff member and he came over and told us they knew about this .... They dug it up and just filled it back in. Seriously!? Oh its site 75 STAY AWAY! So we sent that staffer to get the manager about 530 (mind you he was supposed to stop by at 300 also). Anyways the manager never came over. We just went uo to wash dishes and there the manager and staffer were playing corn hole and drinking!! Dude, either run the place or party here. Pick one!). We have heard from multiple campers here that this place changed ownership in 2021 and they said it has gone down hill here! They said just this year the prices have about doubled for permanent rental sites and alot of people are moving out their perminant sites at the end of this season! This should be a huge sign to people coming here....the "regulars" are leaving.... Day 2. I went to the rest room at 3am and the toilet would not flush and i could barely wash my hands, no notes in the bathroom about water issues. Woke up this morning and was i formed by my friends on the site with us that the sewage was worse and came closer to my tent. I popped out of the tent and it is flowing closer but there is still a few feet before it hits us. Also found out that my friends went up to the bathhouse this morning to use the facilities still no water. He walked out and found the manager in a room turning back on the water. He said "i came in today and heard the water was off". My friend left him and went back into the restroom and there was water. Then went back into bathroom and water was on....then went back outside and looked at the door the manager was in and it was a locked door . So only way water was off is if you or your staff turned it off buddy! Our neighbors by us told us that they were given notice to conserve water.... Conserving water and taking water away from us (turning it off and locking the door) are too totally different things! My friend called the office and spoke to his wife and she started to get irate with him. He then called the EPA AND HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Today could get interesting.... well it definitely more more interesting! The manager came flying over on his lil go cart yelling at us to leave (so disclaimer my friends husband did make the decision to stay because he did not want to move his pop up, and the new sites were ridiculously small, but he also couldn't just bite his tongue for the rest of the people there). The manager and my friends husband got into a very loud verbal match which ended up with us getting 3 hours to leave the campground with no refund at all now. My friend stepped in and tried to reason with the manager and he said "you guys did nothing, you have been very understanding but he has not". So i get why we were kicked out. And it sucks because of one bad egg all of out weekends were ruined! My kids and myself were so excited to go tubing....Over all yes my friends husband got us kicked out, the fact still remains these owners are shady and unfair! They knew the whole time there was a septic issue and still rented us the site! Not to mention their ridiculous rules which so many other campers broke with multiple cars on the sites and they didn't have camp tags and we were made to buy a whole site just pop up a tent on one site (i would have parked at the entrance thats fine! But because of their bad decisions to run their business we have to make up for it by purchasing extra sites so they make make money. also, why are there so many photos on FB of the manager and his dad winning 1st n 2nd place with $$ for games? **UPDATE** Faith restored. The moist wood remains an issue, but the way that the loud and discourteous campers in the 3 adjacent sites were dealt with has restored my confidence. Night #2 confirmed that the drunken and unruly behavior of the first was not an anomaly, and the owner warned our loud neighbors that they would be asked to leave if they continued. He went so far as to maintain presence in the area to make sure that they complied on night #3. I also had an opportunity to speak with a lovely couple who have a permanent site there, and they assured me that the place is still run with the same commitment and attention as always. To the loud folks in the sites beside us (should you happen to stumble upon this while leaving your own review)...this isn't college anymore. Getting sloppy drunk and being obnoxious is not what responsible and courteous adults do. Maybe the lightbulb hasn't lit up yet...just because you now have the means to buy a spiffy trailer and a truck to haul it with doesn't mean that you can do as you please to the detriment of those around you. Find an empty field somewhere, park your trailers in a circle, and go crazy, but don't rob everyone else of a good experience with your immaturity. read more

This campground was recommended to me; but was very disappointed; I was trying to make a reservation 3 month in advance and when I asked about the cancellation policy they said absolutely no refunds under any conditions; That is really unreasonable; what pricks! read more

Took tHe family Christmas. Cabin was awesome modern and a perfect place to relax with grandchildren Owners were very accommodating even brought dishes we needed to prepare our Christmas dinner! We even had the white Christmas we were looking forward to! Price is very reasonable! Would highly recommend that would love to go back again next year read more

We recently spent 3 days here in their covered wagon. It was 2 adults and 6 (yes, six) kids ages 4-10. First the good! The grounds were meticulously kept. The bathrooms were probably the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. The wagon was super cool and fit all of us comfortably. It was clean, the site was clean, the fire pit was even clean. The pool was great, the store was fun, etc. The kids also loved the playground! Our site was very private. We felt "apart" from the rest of the campground- which was probably a good thing given the rowdy nature of the children. We stayed Mon-Wed and actually wondered if maybe we were the only people there at all. It was quiet, very beautiful, and very clean. The kids found a ton of critters and really enjoyed their stay. The reason I didn't rate it better was that I felt like they added an additional charge to every single thing one could think of. You had to pay for their firewood (you could not bring your own or buy it elsewhere. Basically you had to pay to have a fire), the wifi (no cell service at all, and I needed to keep in touch with my mother somehow), the key to get into the facility, even if you wanted to use the pool on the day you checked out. The key would have been a refundable fee, but no one was in the store when we left so we had to just eat the cost. There was also a pizza store that wasn't open during the week. Very strange to me, given that it was July! We had one really nice lady helping us when we checked in. She was very excited about the wagon being a surprise for the kids-a real grandmother type. I appreciated her kindness ten-fold. Everyone else we encountered either acted like we were bugging them by wanting to buy ice cream, or was openly hostile. My parking pass fell off the review mirror of the car and I was accosted at pool about it- despite it being visible on the front seat. It was a beautiful campground and the kids really loved the covered wagon.. but given the many many similar places to camp in the area, I am not sure I'd go back. read more

This review is based on the campground alone and not about how enjoyable of a time we had. It rained hard all weekend. It was nice, clean with a friendly staff. The pool was decent. The delivered pizza was good. They had bingo and a d.j. On Saturday night which the kids enjoyed. They charged too much for firewood. The people doing the bingo seemed to making an awful lot of money off the campers. The payout wasn't even close to the amount they took in. Understandably it was raining, but drainage seemed to be a problem as well. read more

This is without a doubt our favorite campground. The grounds are meticulously kept. Light posts have flower baskets on the, all the cabins have twinkle lights on them and are really nice inside. They have the nicest, updated, super clean bath house we have ever been in! Hands down! Sites are all wooded. The store is well stocked. Very comfy, cozy atmosphere. We have great experiences here! Small but nice solar heated pool. Just can't say enough about the beautiful campground. Just up the road is Farmers Inn and they have an amazing buffet breakfast in the weekends. read more

Horrible customer service. We didn't get wood we ordered. We were supposed to get a mobile cabin it never came and they refused a refund.

Our family recently rented the Kenai cabin it was clean and cozy . The camp grounds were very clean!!Restroom and showers extremely clean Everyone was very friendly service was excellent!!!!! There was a mix up on dog charges they reviewed and corrected there mistake ceven personal delivered our refund to our cabin again great service!!! Our son lost his wallet on the way out we got home they already had a message on the phone and my son called they mailed him his wallet he got it the very next day they must of sent it overnight with everything still in it there again not only great service AWSOME service and honesty!!!!THANK YOU !!! They have really good fresh pizza even deliver it to your site!!!! Good ice cream very nice pool game room nice play ground for kids!! Nice hiking trail to Bear Town Rocks!!! Everything was awesome we plan on going back in the fall!!!!! read more
