We brought our 5th wheel to this location for them to sell on consignment in July 2017. We agreed on a price we would receive if they sold it, which was about $12000 less than the blue book value. They told us it would be online within 1-2 days. Two weeks later it finally showed up online with only a few pictures and a small, incorrect write up and description, and it was listed for double the price we agreed to take so it was way overpriced. We spoke to the salesman who gave a lame excuse that it gives them negotiating room. Fast forward to January 2018, we let them know we were coming to pick it up since we have not had any interest at their location. No problem they said, we'll have it ready. When we got there, we noticed it had cement splattered on the front storage door. Pointed this out to the female salesperson helping us and she proceeded to see what they could do to remove it. Then a male salesman came out and wanted to know what the problem was. We showed him the cement and he said there was nothing they could do cause all their detail people were busy. At this point he dismissed the female salesperson, guess he didn't think a girl could handle this. Then he started telling us that they did us a "courtesy" by keeping it on their lot for 6 months. He used "courtesy " several more times as he got less and less professional and more obnoxious. We tried to remain calm and explain the problems we had encountered, but then he accused me of being a complainer. Well, there was a lot to complain about but I honestly thought he would want to know the problems they had so they could be addressed!!! Guess not!!! I know this is a long review, and we probably sound like a couple of unhappy people who complain about everything. All we wanted was our camper back in the same condition they received it and we were treated very badly by the male salesman. We were there for a long time and I just reported the highlights. I can say one thing good.... our battery in the camper was dead and the female salesperson sent a technician out to jump it so we could raise our front levelers. Bottom line..... they don't care about your property and all the negative reviews about Camping World are there for a reason. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from them. read more

If I could give zero stars, then I would. Do not buy campers from this company. Do not fall for the expensive extended warranty because it is worthless. We bought a brand new camper from them at a camper show in Virginia and have had nothing but problems with it. They have cheap liners made of tarp material under the camper that falls out when you drive them. They then try to fix it with cheap duck tape like material which falls out again. Then they say the expensive warranty wont fix the cheap repair that did'nt work the first time. They also don't include all the parts when you buy the camper. Like the microwave plate that was supposed to come with the camper but was left out. Now they say we have to just buy one from somewhere even though they left it out. read more

Unbelievable the story I and my wife was told this week. We went to camper world this week to view Class A Motorhomes and was introduced to a salesman name Berry, he seems nice enough really didn't know all the ins and out of the Motorhomes but was helpful in our search. Buying a Motorhome is like purchasing a new pair of shoes, color, fit and durability. We test drove two Motorhomes and wasn't sold on either. Then we were ask if we would be interested in a used consignment Motorhome a 2014 Over The Road 36 ft home it was just our fit. During our test drive we ask Berry what the selling price was and he didn't know so we looked it up on line and found several of the same units and now had a good idea of the price. Went we arrived back to Camper World Barry told us that he was going to check their listing, he came back telling us that the unit had termites and that they were going to return it back to the con signee because he couldn't sell it. Barry was going to call us the following day with information on the seller so that we may follow up and maybe make a deal with them. He was also going to contact us to view our current Class A so we would know the value/trade in. Well to make a long story short guess what we found out. Not True!! I bought a 2022 forest River Wolf Pup from camping world Biloxi on July 2nd.... Then had to bring it back on the 9th because one of the leaf springs on it needed to be replaced (the day we got it it was leaning, one of the speakers were out, and some of the trim needed to be resealed). Since then it has stayed in Biloxi with all of my belongings (I'm homeless because this was supposed to be my home) with little to no information being given to me about when it'll be ready and yesterday on 8/15 I got a call it was ready... except for the recall that won't have a part come in till next month on the 10th ( the manufacturer said this recall was maid in April BEFORE I got my camper) and the door needs to be resealed because of "normal wear and tear" they expect me to pay despite I never even got to sleep in this thing. At this point it'll be 10 weeks+ in the shop and for the price it isn't worth it. read more

My experience with a particular salesman, Chris Fayard, deserves to be lauded as an example of what a conscientious and determined person can do. Chris worked with my wife and I for over a month back in March of 2019 attempting to help us find exactly what we wanted (not what he wanted to sell us) from their inventory. We didn't exactly make his job simple but he never acted bothered by our questions and seemed to listen to our concerns and needs. In the end, he gave us the right advice based on our desires for our RV, and also helped us get what I consider a GREAT DEAL on my RV. The best part was yet to come, though, when I had a problem with a component not working. I tried calling GOOD SAM and frankly, although they tried to help, their solution was impossible. I then called Chris, and, without missing a beat, he discovered what the problem was and solved it himself. If the person delivering the unit to us had been more thorough I wouldn't have had the problem. Maybe Chris should become the technical problem guru there. I bought a new rv from them in Nov. and didn't get til Jan. Just needed a step by the drivers side and Velcro for curtains. No one called me so I called them to be told the work was finished. When I went there, the work was not done. I was also given a manual in Spanish and jumped through many hoops to get one in English. When I first went to get it, I got there at 2:00 and didn't get in til almost 6:00 even tho I had an appointment. Big Sales Trick- hit me will a list of all types of extended warranties and said I was not allowed to take info home to study and I had to make a decision then. I picked two of them to the tune of $7,500. Think I would only have gotten one for $1,500 had I been able to research it. I was exhausted by then and at 7:30 pm we did a walk through and I was so tired I could not comprehend the very brief run through. I would call only to be told I would get return calls which never came. I had to call Camping World Corporate level two times to get help locally and they were great. I can only hope this store is rare and others are efficient because I want to use them when I travel. Oh, both carriage batteries were faulty which I couldn't tell til I got home. read more

Made a deal with Camping World in Biloxi for Used RV. Had already had trade in appraisal at Nashville Camping World for $25,000. We put $500 deposit on new RV which Biloxi Camping World said was ready to pick up. So we tell them we are coming and drive 8+ hours to Biloxi with Trade in in tow. When we get to Biloxi, the RV is not cleaned, the dashboard is INOP ( which they had previously said that RV had no issues), they wanted to charge us $995 to clean RV and 2 nights at local campground. When said no thanks, we were told that we could not opt out. Then they said finance application we submitted days in advance would not be ready for 2 days which would give them time to fix RV and clean it. When we told them we already have financing thru our bank already good to go THEN they said we needed to replace our trade in slide floor for $4000 (insane price). Hard NO!!! I called service department of Camping World in Biloxi, MS and they quoted me $1850 to $2250 depending on # of hours worked. I guess they figured that since we drove 8+ hours with all the kids that they could screw us over. I DO NOT recommend using Camping World of Biloxi Mississippi. Worst experience ever. My wife actually cried. They wasted 4 days of our life and much expense. read more

I bought a Keystone Bullet from Camping World in May 2021 to be able to travel with my disabled child. We love our camper. In November 2021 I got a letter in the mail about a recall on the propane regulator. I called Keystone because I have no refundable reservations, and they assured me that the dealer would be able to check out my camper quickly because this is considered "priority." The camper cannot be used until it is fixed because it can catch on fire. Camping World told me they did not have an opening until February! When I told her that Keystone said this would be prioritized, the Camping World employee said, "Well, Keystone doesn't do my scheduling." So now I'm paying a monthly note and storage on a camper that I can't use, in addition to losing my money on camping reservations and wrecking my Christmas plans. I should have listened to others who warned me about their terrible customer service. STAY AWAY. read more

Total horrible experience. Zero stars A tech arrived to give us our "camper class" and told us we were not supposed to be in the camper rather rudely. He said he did not have time to prepare, was not familiar with the unit, but would go over the basics because they are all basically the same, and only had an hour allotted for the class. As the tech went over the camper basics it was clear that he was not familiar with the camper since I had to show him several of the features myself. We were then told to write down anything that needed to be fixed prior to delivery of our camper. We several cosmetic issues that were fixed prior to delivery. We sat in the lounge for 2 very frustrating hours waiting on the Business Manager to make our purchase. After 30 minutes in the Business Managers office, 2 hours went by and our camper was still not ready to go. I was told the delay was because there was only one qualified fork lift driver to move campers. When the driver finally arrived with our camper no instruction was offered or provided on how to safely hook up the camper to my truck. He simply dropped it off and left. The whole sales experience was unacceptable. Once we were home and really had a chance to go over the camper we found several other issues that would need to be corrected. We immediately notified the sales rep the day after purchase. We never heard back from the sales rep on a status of returning to fix these issues even though I had his personal cell number, left 2 voice mails, and had texted him. So I called the service department. The service advisor and I agreed to fix the shower as a "waiter" and the rest would be addressed at a later date. We arrived early for our appointment. A service advisor spent nearly 2 hours taking pictures of the camper issues, marking them with blue painters tape, and then loading all the issues into the Service Department computer. Then we went to lunch. Just prior to ordering lunch we received a call from the service department. They would not be able to do the repair because of at least 2 things: Warranty work had to be approved and it would take longer than a day (the whole shower would have to be removed). I do not understand why the work was not already approved (since we had the appointment for 4 1/2 weeks and why it would take longer that a few hours. We were very unhappy at this point, hooked up, and took our camper home. We took the camper back for warranty repairs on our scheduled date. We were told the repairs would only take 2 days. The next business day, I received a call from our service advisor asking about one of the issues. I explained the issue to him and he explained it to the repair tech. He told me that the warranty work had not been approved yet and no work has been started. I was shocked for several reasons. First and foremost, once again my appointment had been booked for over a month and Camping World failed to call in to get approval for the warranty work. No work had been started yet. I immediately told the service advisor to get my camper ready and I would be down to get it in an hour. Then I called the General Manager. I explained the issue to the General Manager. He blamed the pandemic and Keystone's process to get warranty work approved. It is unacceptable to place blame on Keystone when Camping World clearly failed. He agreed it was unacceptable and told me he would talk to the service department. Upon arrival at the Biloxi MS Camping World my camper was not ready to pick up. I was told the forklift ran out of fuel and they had to go get fuel. I was given paperwork to sign that said no work was completed, I owed no money, and I was taking the camper. My wife was very upset at that point, raised her voice and said we are not signing anything until we have our camper. A different service advisor (not mine) rudely said "why are you giving me attitude? I had nothing to do with this." Again, this is an unacceptable way to talk to any customer, especially a customer that has been repeatedly wronged. They brought my camper around a few minutes later and I hooked it up to my truck. My wife came out after talking to the Service Manager and was extremely upset at this point. The Service Manager told her he was going to "call someone to escort you from the building if you do not lower your voice". She was indeed talking very loudly to the Service Manager and it was clear he did not want the rest of the customers in the building to know about the unacceptable service we were experiencing. Just prior to leaving a customer that was back in service with my wife drove around and apologized. He told us that the Biloxi Camping World had his camper for 6 months and told us why. He said "They are liars and thieves." Buy your campers and get your repairs elsewhere. I should have read the on line and BBB reviews before I went to Camping World. Several of my camping friends had similar experiences with Camping World. We will NEVER go back to a Camping World. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! My first RV purchase was a 2020 Heartland Pioneer. Sold to me by Camping World Biloxi with a broken refrigerator/freezer off the lot. EVERYONE I spoke to after that realization asked me about the checklist. Come to find out that every REPUTABLE dealer does a checklist of major components on the RVs before sale. Then as I was leaving the dealership, I got a fault message in my truck about the trailer connection. I was right outside the service department so I stopped and asked. I was told by my salesman (Chris Fayard) , the delivery technician, and a service technician that the problem was my truck without even looking at it since the trailer was new. To be fair Chris was awesome through the sales process. Come to find out that the right trailer lights are blowing the fuse in my truck and I have had no trouble with any other trailer. Since I live out of my trailerI have had trouble getting it in for the warranty work on the refrigerator. Finally able to make an appointment to have it diagnosed and was told I could drop it off Friday and it would get checked out and parts ordered then I could pick it up Saturday. Showed up Saturday morning and was informed by a different desk person that it had not been looked at and that it normally took up to 3 days for diagnosis work to be done. I towed my trailer 50 miles each direction and paid for a hotel room out of my pocket for nothing other than to waste time, money, and fuel. I have contacted Heartland and got no help whatsoever other than to give me the name and numbers of other dealers I could take my trailer to. I will never own another Heartland after this. Besides the refrigerator, the shower stall isn't even completely installed and the base has no support for about a 1/4 to 1/3 of it and also when it rains the rain comes directly into my trailer behind the wall where my oven is. I thought the manufacturer would take note of the seriousness of something like that but obviously not. One last thing, I tried to use the online customer portal to voice all of this and never got a response from the corporate headquarters. I have talked to them on the phone and hopefully that will garner better results. read more

I brought my camper in for service and had an appointment called to check on camper that afternoon and was told they are still working on it went in the next day in person and was told they are working on it when I ask to go get something out the camper the advisor had a ghost look on his face when I went to my camper it was still in the overflow lot never pulled in the shop at all so I confronted him and he did not like it I ask for service manger and he acted like no big deal I bought my camper from them and would never Recommend anyone ever to buy a camper from them their service is horrible they will lie to you just because They think that's what you wanna hearSo if you in the market to buy a camper I suggest you try other camper places and if you need service I really suggest you not bringing it to camper world and to top it off they answer my request and ask me to email them and they never responded great job read more

I stopped in camper world in Biloxi yesterday to get some parts for my roof. The salesman was pretty glib. For $25,000 Finance, they wanted 550 a month for 10 years. After thinking about you figuring it out. I should be able to get the same payment 4 years. I went back and told him and he came back with the same price he gave me yesterday. I told him goodbye. You didn't even hear me request the 48-month payment. I said bye. The salesman said don't ever come back here. I said fine. That's horrible service. His manager should be fired for this. They let a customer go so easy, out the door. I wouldn't buy a Band-Aid from these guys. If they had the only Band-Aid in town. Lying to customers is a trap! read more

We were drug in circles, my husband and I took off work just to be told they hadn't even started our application like promised. When we had problem after problem with it, we requested a refund or exchange to another type of GPS. Every person we dealt with at Camping World was awesome. They really worked with our specific wishes and needs for a fifth wheel. We got the perfect RV and the staff made the whole sale and trade-in experience very easy and uncomplicated. Especially the after-sale care was exceptional. One week after purchase we had a strong rain and we found a leak inside the RV. Within 45 minutes of my call to Camping World I had two technicians here checking out the issue while it was still raining. It turned out that this major issue for me was quite an easy fix. The next day as soon as the rain had stopped another tech was here fixing everything and we have not had a problem since. We love the RV and are so happy we went to Camping World. If there was a way to take this review into negative stars I would. I made the mistake of buying a brand new camper here and have regretted my decision from day one. To start with they delivered my camper with an incorrectly setup load level hitch. I took it back and they were supposed to order the correct part. Came in 2 weeks later to find they never even ordered the part. Next I brought trailer in for service as thermostat didn't work correctly and we discovered our first time out with trailer there were roaches living in the plumbing when it was delivered to us. Trailer was returned to us with the thermostat still not working and we were told there was nothing they could do about the roaches. This was supposed to be a brand new trailer! Circuit breaker then popped on the generator. Trailer is not 6 months old and under manufacturers warranty as well as the extended warranty we paid for. They charged me $70 to flip the circuit breaker back on and nothing more! For a trailer still under its manufacturers warranty!! I voiced my displeasure at being charged for a service while under warranty and they were rude in return and made it known they could really care less about me bringing my business back there. I regret ever having set foot on their property. If I were you I would head over to Dixie RV in LA. I would go ANYWHERE rather than bring your business here. read more

The staff here have been very helpful. We did not buy our camper here because my wife found one she and our son liked better at another dealer. This Camping world was very helpful however. They followed up on our visit and found several trailer close to what we wanted. Since they had been so helpful I have returned there for the brake controller and all the parts I have wanted. They had the controller in stock and the wiring harness. Other dealers would have needed to order it. I have no complaints with the other dealer, yet, but this dealer have gone above a casual response whenever I have asked. Thanks Camping World of Biloxi.
