When we began my husband's green card journey, I was hesitant about if we really needed a lawyer…read moresince we are both detail oriented people and thought we might be able to handle our case ourselves. However, we realized quickly how confusing things can be and the challenge it would be to do while balancing our lives. Working with Peter alleviated so much stress and I couldn't be happier with our decision to work with him. Peter gave us peace of mind in a way that exceeded all of my expectations. Peter provided such prompt case updates that we rarely checked our case portal due to our confidence in him and his communication. What would've otherwise been an anxiety ridden process was transformed into a process where we could relax and trust in him and his team. Everyone we interacted with on his team has been incredibly kind, caring, responsive, and detailed. When we initially met Peter we felt at ease and instantly knew we were in good hands. Peter continually impressed us throughout the entire process and Livia was wonderful to work with in preparing our documents. The due diligence, reputation, and preparedness of his team allowed our case to be approved seamlessly and much quicker than we ever thought possible. Peter is empathetic and is it clear that he truly cares about his clients. He is a rare find and a wonderful person. We are so thankful to have worked with him!

I absolutely recommend KILO. Peter was instrumental in bringing my wife and son to the states…read more Recently, we had some questions regarding her naturalization. Again, he was very helpful with the questions we had to help her prepare for her interview. We are ever grateful to KILO.

Emily is the ONLY attorney I've ever seen make a DA mad, because Emily's knowledge and comprehension is way above that DA here in San Joaquin. Remind you she did nothing insulting or rude. Emily is completely fair across the board and will not sugar coat things for you. She has told me im wrong for doing certain things but corrected me and gave me advice rather then shunning me. Pricing? abnormally cheap for an attorney. I cannot explain how good she is with out talking about my case. If you're interested in results look up " CR - 2022 5346 " But to sum things up. She beat a case that would normally be seen as unbeatable. I have given her business card to multiple of my friends. We will be contacting her again soon to help my friend gain citizenship.

The first time I interviewed with him at RCCC Sacramento I felt something negative about him "HONESTY" I mentioned to my family but they still hire him since they were paying. Eventually, the feeling I had became true. He was not a lawyer but liar. He took my money, and waste my time for about 4-5 months. So I made the best decision of my life and decided to fired him. Then I was referred to the "BEST OF THE BEST" Lawyers Emily Chrim. The 1st time she interviewed with I felt all the positive energy. I don't have words to explain. But, I knew she was the one just by instinct. She is honest, dedicated, positive, puts effort, and she is real. She don't give you hope. But for certain she is going to fight for you all the way. Long story, short. I was granted "KAT" Convention Against Torture . Always be in debt with Emily. Me and family are so grateful. I recommend her to any one with immigration needs.

Hired Leiva Law Firm for a straightforward N-400 naturalization application. It was one of the…read moreworst professional experiences I've had. The attorney, Scarlett Leiva, demonstrated alarming incompetence on basic immigration law. She could not distinguish between a routine traffic citation (a parking ticket or speeding infraction) and a citation issued by a law enforcement officer -- a fundamental distinction that any immigration attorney handling naturalization cases should know without hesitation. This confusion caused months of unnecessary delays on what should have been a simple application, while I was left chasing clarification on something my $2,000 was supposed to cover. When I finally received the draft application packet, it was riddled with errors. The form referenced "see addendum" but the addendum pages were missing. My employment history was wrong. After I terminated representation and hired competent counsel, my new attorney immediately identified numerous standard supporting documents that Leiva's team never requested or included -- items like spouse proof of citizenship, tax documentation, and ID copies that any competent immigration firm includes as a matter of course. When I followed up on the sluggish timeline, instead of accountability I got a condescending lecture that "frequent follow-up emails do not expedite the review process and can actually slow things down." They also tried to upsell me on an expedited service fee when I expressed urgency about my own case. After termination, with nothing filed, nothing submitted to USCIS, and a draft full of errors, the firm claimed the entire $2,000 flat fee was "fully earned" and refused any refund. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the months of wasted time. Find a lawyer who knows the basics of what they're filing.
