However with that being said, I've observed quite a few issues and with my short time here in FAI, being the best in Fairbanks isn't saying much. Obviously the no one wants to pay $70-$80 for a haircut. But if you want a decent haircut that's what you have to pay. Me like a lot of their clients are not from here. Where I come from I can pay half the price and I'm getting offered a hot towel, sometimes face massage, etc, etc. These guys have a hard time placing shaving cream on your face to avoid cutting you. It seems like the shaving cream thing has gotten better but still pretty inconsistent. I have personally been able to observe 4 of the 5 barbers there, the only one I have never sat with seems to not be comfortable cutting 4C hair types. All of them once again are super nice and super friendly but none of them have been able to justify to me the $70-$80 price tag.

About 3 minutes before I was supposed to be there I called and let them know I was running about 10 minutes late. They said he was still working on another client so it worked out great! MOTHER DUCKING STAIRS. If you can't or wont climb stairs this place is not for you.
