The staff were very friendly and made a fuss of me for my birthday, which was very appreciated! I had the Victoria Sponge cake, which was vegan-friendly and delicious! The servings were *very* generous! The rest of my group enjoyed their cake as well as flavoured hot chocolates. We really enjoyed the vibe here, the friendly staff and above all, the excellent food and drink. We'll be returning! :-)

I also stayed hydrated with the water they generously provide at the front(that they never let run out). The bonus to it all was the dark chocolate selection they have. I went for the 100% dark of single origin, just like their coffees by the way. On top of all that, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There were plenty of tables and even some with outlets. There were lots of pastries to choose from that I did not try, but that is what subsequent visits are made for! The staff were really friendly and nice. My Dad opted for a seafood platter, which came with smoked salmon, crayfish, cockles, mackerel and crab slaw all served with sourdough bread, hollandaise and aioli sauces - seafood heaven! My Mum went for the lamb and goats cheese burger that was divine! The lamb was cooked to perfection with it being pink in the middle and served with a yummy mint yogurt dip and sun-dried tomatoes. I was stuck between the club sandwich and BBQ pulled pork open sandwich. On recommendation I went for the pork, which was served, on sourdough toast with melted Monterey cheese - heaven! I was having food-envy looking at the lamb burger but was not in anyway disappointed with my pork. Finishing off our meal with the Parlour's specialty - ice creams all round! I have a new found love for the homemade lemon meringue cone... There is so many flavours including apple pie and the originals too - its an ice cream lovers heaven! Our leisurely lunch here was fab and they are also promoting the "Super Club" on the 18th of July that is a diner's paradise! We had a good peruse through the extensive menu, and all plumped for different sorts of tea, we all got a different pot, and we passed them around, sipping each others brews and deciding on our favourites until our cake arrived. One of our friends who was there is allergic to eggs and nuts, and she was still reasonably catered for. They have gluten free options too.
