I hate to have to write this (I really like the idea of supporting local & understand running a business is challenging), but this is the 2nd time that we've been completely ignored by customer service regarding a simple issue. Last time I ordered an item in a medium & was emailed an abrupt refund notification (even though the website said "in stock"). I reached out a couple of times about maybe getting a large instead & no one ever responded. Baffling. Recently I gave it another shot (though because of my diminished confidence I ordered twice as many items this time from BN Bookstore simultaneously since they promote that "satisfaction is our goal"). I relied on a description on the CC website that a sweatshirt was 100% cotton. Not a big fan of 50-50 (don't like the feel or the static) & never would have ordered one if it had been accurately described. I don't know what went wrong this time but it arrived in 50-50 material. Very disappointing, but whatever, I did still like the design. Tweeted about the unfortunate mislabeling snafu and yet again received no response or even the slightest acknowledgment. Deja vu. Just a little attention and culpability would have been nice, but I think I'm done here. And kinda Bummed out also. I liked having a creative alternative as a choice, but what good is it if customer respect & fulfillment is lacking. read more

Normally when I'm back in New Orleans, which is always for the holiday's, I somehow find myself in Campus Connection. Thankfully because they are one of the few stores that are open during the holiday's. I'm usually going in there for Tulane/Green Wave items and Greek Life gear. Though the selections are vast, I will say that the Greek Jackets are not well-crafted, they stitch the patches over the pocket, which don't allow you use of both pockets. In regards to pricing, I do usually walk out spending a pretty penny $$$. read more

This is a really cool store that is loaded up with excellent university and Greek gear. The girlfriend and I came to this place during our New Orleans trip for her Gamma Phi reunion, and she was able to load up on all sorts of Gamma Phi goodies for a very reasonable price. Throughout the process, the staff here was exceptionally helpful and went to the back for us a couple times to get us product alternates or something in a certain size. This place is clean, organized, wonderfully priced, and very helpful...strongly recommended. read more

I have been buying at this store since the 1990's since I was a student at Tulane. I recently order three items online and was informed that two of the items were out of stock although they were in stock on the site. I was informed of the mistake and asked if I wanted the one item shipped or the order cancelled. The shipping was $7.00 originally and when asked what the shipping cost were for the one item they responded with $4.00. No consideration for the inconvenience . Nothing. When this was pointed out I received no response but a cancellation email for the order Considering I could order the same hat on amazon for $5 cheaper with free shipping. Though I believed in buying from hometown businesses. It is sad but they have lost a customer of over 19 years. Nothing is sadder than having to leave an old friend who betrayed your trust read more

They will steal your money on custom orders!! Recently I had campus connection make several custom t shirts for my greek organization. I was originally told the price would be $23 per shirt (expensive but it was last minute so I was okay with it). We kept in contact finalizing the designs and such and the price ended up going up to about $25 per shirt (we figured it was alright, not too bad only a small increase). However, When we went in to the shop itself to finalize the deal in person, the price went up to $33 per shirt due to "art fees". My organization provided the custom art for the t shirts yet they still charged us for art fees. I asked for a discount as they lied about the price of t shirts repeatedly and they never got back to me. Do not order custom orders for shirts they will rip you off for a low quality shirt. read more

I gave this place only 3 stars, though, because the girls working behind the counter were terrible...couldn't be bothered to smile or speak when I entered the door. I had to coax responses out of them about the item I was there to pickup. this place would be great if the staff was improved upon. read more
