I immediately went next door, as my neighbor works in the office, and told her I needed someone to do something. This morning I called the office and my neighbor answers. When I asked what was going on she told me I would have to wait till Friday when pest control comes. First it was mice, then monster cockroaches (which I'm still battling), now it's snakes. After I left, they tried to tell me they had to replace the carpet and charging me an additional $750 and I went over and the new tenant let me check and it is the same carpet I cleaned when I moved. I have video and pictures and have to fight them because they have turned me over to collections. Would not recommend to ANYONE EVER!!!!!!!!

They also send you to collections, even if you never moved in. That's right. You don't even have to move to be sent to collections. If a student has to withdraw from college for any reason before taking possession of a unit they (and the co-signer) are still on the hook for the ENITRE lease balance. Even if the student (or the leasing office) fills that slot with another person, they still charge one months rent and an admin fee. Other apartment complexes in the area do not do that, especially if the student has to withdraw from ECU due to no fault of their own. Buyer beware.

From the office admin, Rachel, to the Property Manager, Marisa, to the Maintenance Man, Justin...each one of these individuals was incredibly helpful throughout my experience. Rachel set it off with such great and polite service greeting me in the office. Then Marisa was so helpful in calling in to maintenance for a dolly to help me with the many boxes I had to move. Finally, Justin brought the dolly right to me to use which made the move so much easier. I want to thank you all for such an easy experience and more importantly I am so happy that my daughter is living in a such a great place with such a caring staff. It's impossible to park to visit your student. My son was there for two years and had to have countless repairs made, including window replacements, where they had to stay in another apartment for a while. And then couldn't get blinds for the replacement windows for months. On top of that after move out, they charge a cleaning fee, which is warranted, but they also charged him for a piece of furniture that was broken before he got it. $100 for a chair that was already broken. I emailed the property and at least three other people trying to get this resolved and cannot get a response other than additional emails telling me to contact yet another person.
