I had a serious drainage issue on the side of my house that I noticed last April. I previously was led to believe the drainage line was blocked by the roots of a two year old tree. I postponed removing the tree until the Fall and I'm so glad I did. Long story short, I called Colton of Water Marshals based on his great 5 star reviews and shared a video of the issue with him. He came out that afternoon! He indicated he didn't think it was a root issue and that he needed to do some digging. After digging up the drainage field he quickly located the area that was fully blocked by dirt and debris. Colton showed me the area and how it was starting to drain properly using water from the hose to demonstrate. He came back today to finish the job. He also mowed my lawn, otrimmed some bushes and gave me some advice regarding the health of another tree in my yard. I really appreciate that he was able to fit me into his schedule. My sincere and honest opinion about this business is the following: I would never do business with them, no matter what. I acknowledge that I did not read the 36 paragraphs of terms and conditions on the form I filled out, therefore, I was very surprised with the outcome. Most of us do not read terms and conditions on things like requesting a sprinkler blowout. Most of us read terms and conditions on items that will financially affect us. I will attempt to summarize their terms and conditions and let you decide for yourself if you want to click that submit button to request services. I do not know about their other services, because the only service I requested was an irrigation blowout. The business does not have time to schedule blowouts during blowout season. Therefore, when you submit a form, you are not requesting an appointment. You are agreeing to receiving the service at any given time and day they choose, and you will be notified the night before by text message or email. It's your responsibility to make sure their message or email do not go to the junk mailbox and you are not informed that services will be rendered at your property. If you need to cancel the service, you need to fill out a form. They will not answer text messages or phone calls. Failure to cancel the service will result in a non-cancellation fee. Apparently, I am not the only person who did not pay attention to the terms and conditions, and I will not be the last. According to the reviews on different online platforms, many people have gone through the same situation I have gone through; rudeness, name calling and threats. Mind you that I did call him names too. Apparently, because I am Latinx, I do not know how to read properly and I should ask someone else to read the terms and conditions for me if I am not capable of understanding (owner's words). The bottom line here is, if you are looking for a business like 99% of the Treasure Valley provide which consists of scheduled appointment, a working phone number for calls or texts, this business cannot provide that for blowouts. I recognize they have provided business for thousands of people in the Valley, and they do receive good reviews as well. However, their business practices do not work for me, a full-time professional worker. I need to know when someone will be at my house so I can work from home. I also did a lot of research regarding this business and noticed that they have had a lot of issues with other customers like weapons pulled at their technicians, police called, trespassing charges threats. I feel really bad for the technicians. I was not threatening or rude to the technician at all. I informed him I was unaware and I had had the service performed two weeks prior. I did reach out to The Attorney General and the BBB as well. We live in a free country. While he can run his business the way he wants, I can also leave reviews and my opinion about how he runs his business as well without the fear of a defamation lawsuit. These platforms exist for a reason. If I was in the same business as him paying people to leave bad reviews, that would be defamation. I am just a professional, a homeowner who just wanted her sprinklers blown out. I never thought I would have so much headache and stress trying to get a basic service done at my house.
