The Can Shed is always slammed, but they get you in and out as quickly as they can. Friendly customer service. Help staff out and have your cans and bottles sorted ahead of time. Out-of-State beer bottles? Don't expect to recycle them here. :) Get the box cardboard box for $5 and keep it in your garage. When you bring back a full bag of cans and/or bottle they'll give you another replacement liner for free. I think they prefer you keep plastic bottles, glass bottles and cans separated. The can shed is a recycling center for cans, plastic, and glass bottles! They count out your returns for you there fast and easy! They sell boxes with lids so you can put your bag in and lift the box off when its full, they give you $12 for a full bag and that's just a drop off. Great way to recycle at work or at home. read more

Took 2 different bags of cans/bottles. Told them the count and they paid me $.05 for each one....no rip off here. You need to have your cans/bottles counted and if you don't want to do it that way you can go inside and use their machines. People create their own problems and then blame others. read more

If I could give zero stars I would....stopped in today about 11:30 am and stranded in line and listed to the girl checking the bags up and down laughing at an old man about his return....if you would have sorted it correctly maybe this wouldn't have happened to you....this place is a total joke....very unprofessional. They won't take anything back but full bags and if you don't sort them right get ready to get laughed at!! read more

Great place for large quantities of cans/bottles. .50 cents to buy their empty bag, then you get a new one at no cost when you return it. Fast friendly service people. FYI, returns of over $200 get sent a check in the mail. read more

Visited the can shed with two medium trash bags filled with cans and two plastic bags filled with bottles (minimum of 35 bottles total). The can shed gave us $2.65 as a return. At 5 cents a can/bottle that's a ridiculous return for what we brought in. Sure it's fast and it's certainly not all about the refund but you'll get more back using the self service machines at Walmart or HyVee. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

This was a very easy way to return our bottles and cans. It definitely beats standing at one of those "feed-em" machines and putting the bottles in one and a time. These guys have a very efficient system and everyone there was friendly. It was worth the drive from Marion to get everything taken care of quick and easy. read more
