After multiple calls with multiple unfulfilled promises to show up the owner told my husband that we did not pay him to have the chimney Painted and if he had to choose between a large profit job and fixing what he did at our house he would take the large job. No, he was not paid to paint the chimney as we considered it fixing a messed up job. Shutters fell off the house multiple times after being rehung. A 5-6 day job for a roof recover and house painting took over 1 month. Never started the workday before 11am. Just a mess from the get go. Should have listened to multiple people who told me never hire a friends kid. Hard lesson learned.

We gave them the full payment (more expensive than expected) even though a product had been applied to fill some cracks, and needed to be cleaned after a few days. Then things turned really bad. First they never send the cleaner they were supposed to send. They never send the finale invoice neither. After chasing them for months, they finally came, tried something, but because the huge marks on the floor were impossible to remove, they simply disappeared and even blocked our phone number! At the end, we paid a significant amount of money for a very poor result as we have major stains everywhere, plus it was so annoying to have to chase them for weeks and weeks and weeks...

They came and gave me an estimate, and then they came to pick up my check for the deposit on Saturday. The owner said they would come to do the work on Tuesday or Wednesday. They never showed up, and I tried to contact the owner four times - once on his cell & three times through his office & he never returned my calls. So I put a stop on the check for the deposit. The following Monday he called me and wanted to know why he wasn't able to cash the check, and I said because he took my check, never gave me a receipt, and wouldn't return my calls. He claimed that he never got my messages and blamed it on the girl in the office. Even though I also left voicemail on his personal cell phone. I have no time to deal with people who don't know how to run a business properly. It only takes a minute to make a phone call to reach out to somebody and let them know the status of the job. If he called and explained that they were delayed and wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day, I would have understood. But to take a check from somebody for $1750 , not give them a receipt,and not return phone calls is very unprofessional.
