If it's not critical to send it rush and you're not required to track it, you can send your package by regular mail. Once Canada Post has sealed and stamped it, scan the front part so you have a proof that it has been sent in the mail. You can now send that proof to the receiving party so that they k ow that the package is on its way! Bravo!!! Lol!!!

I understand that they are in financial crisis, but it's times like these where their staff need to provide excellent customer service. I regularly ship packages to customers (probably 24 parcels per month) and I try to support Canada Post, however I have been seriously considering switching vendors because of the lousy customer service. Most (not all) of the staff are miserable, grumpy and unwilling to help. It's very frustrating, especially since I'm sure that as government employees they're making decent money to stand there and help me! That's my 2 cents. I could hardly wait to start typing.... but what I got was at least a 10 minute survey that had nothing to do with Canada Post. Did my husband use Viagra? Did I wet the bed? It went on and on and on. I was actually dropping off a package for my sister as a favour and in return I got bad customer service from this Canada Post employee. My sister didn't tape up the package so I assumed they would have tape to seal up the package. The woman immediately gave attitude and said in a know-it-all tone, "We don't have tape and you're supposed to do that before dropping it off". I replied back that I was dropping the package off as a favour for my sister but she kept going on and on. Why is she giving me attitude when I did nothing wrong? She then said I couldn't place the shipping label on top of another one. But apparently you can because my sister came back with the package and another Canada Post employee allowed it. better then your average post office, i've only come here to drop off packages, but its been a…read moregreat experience overall. this post office is located inside the shoppers drug mart thats inside the sherway gardens. the hours are the same as the mall hours, so its not hard to get the two of them confused. the service here is great, the staff are happy and eager to help, even if the line up is long, which happened once. transit options are the 15 evans 80 queensway bus, and the 123 B,C,D, and F north queen bus, and this post office is super close to the bus terminal as well which is a bonus. lots of parking available as this is a mall. would go out of my way to deal with this location.
