One Tim Hortons is located before going through security which offers hot food and drinks. The other one is located after security and it only serves drinks. I would recommend bringing your own food as the selections are pretty limited and that's what I did. When boarding you will need to walk outside as it's not connected to the airport. It certainly takes less time to get in and out from the airport as it's less busy compared to Pearson.

It is 40 miles from Toronto so not ideal if you're visiting the city as it does not have the same high speed rail as Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Currently serving three "low cost carriers", Play, Sunwing and WestJet fly from here to Iceland, Mexico and, yes, Calgary. There are also bus transfers operated by Air Canada to Pearson. Lots of open parking, lots of great signage pointing the way and super easy to get onto a highway and away from here. No lounges that I could see. It was an uneventful QEW drive to/from Hamilton, which is unusual. I lucked out on street parking because someone pulled out of a spot 100 metres from the stadium. I happened to be there to add a loonie to the meter since there was time remaining and paid parking ends at 6 p.m. Like all sporting venues during an event, hordes of fans, a beehive of activity from lineups for washrooms, alcohol, snacks or memorabilia, to just trying to find your seats. It's all good! Too bad lady luck didn't smile for the home team this evening. Attendance logged in at 8,841. Note to all: no outside drinks or food allowed upon entry.

They either didn't have free parking available or it wasn't properly communicated. So, I parked on the opposite of the street, where there were signs saying "$5 parking for vaccination only". The whole in and out process took only 30 minutes and all the staff and volunteers were really friendly and helpful. They were doing a great job that required a lot of patience. Kudos to them all!

Atlhough small area-wise, it has an European charm - including the iconic London red phone booth! Made up of a few blocks in downtown Burlington (steps from the waterfront, Brant Street Pier, and Spencer Smith Park), Village Square has a number of restaurants, patios, pubs, and unique specialty shops and services. Think of it as an outdoor mall. It reminds me of a cross between Toronto's Yorkville and Distillery District (albeit smaller and more compact). The place can be a bit quiet in the morning, but comes alive at night with lights and sometimes live music (especially in the summer months).

It is set up like an European village with its narrow alleys and cobblestones. There are many restaurants, specialty shops and services. It can be considered an outdoor mall. It is located near the up-and-coming waterfront area in Burlington, which has so many restaurants and an excellent boardwalk and playground and so many condos being built. The decor of each building has an old European look. The closest equivalent in Toronto is The Distillery District but Village Square is smaller and butter implemented in my opinion. It was a busy place on a Saturday night with most of the restaurants filled. There are little nooks and crannies are that very photographic. There is even a musician to entertain people.
