Collected dog from Canadian Pomsky. There were dogs everywhere - outside, inside, in the basement and possibly in a shed. Hard to estimate how many, but far too many. Definitely a puppy mill. Our dog was very ill when we got him. He was constantly throwing up. We ended up taking him to an emergency vet the day after we adopted him. He has significant anxiety. He would swallow his food as soon as he could get any. It appears that Canadian Pomsky has disappeared for a few years now. Who knows where all those dogs went. I tried contacting them many times without any response. Very disturbing. We love our dog very much and are happy we rescued him from there. read more

Recently got my F4 Pomsky named Cali from Andrea at Canadian Pomsky and I could not be happier. Our puppy's temperament is amazing. Before agreeing to purchase, Andrea allowed us to come out and see the puppy, and we also got to meet both her parents to see size, look and temperament that were bred. We were allowed to stay and play with Cali and then came back when she was 8 weeks old to bring her home. There were several other dogs on her property that were very friendly, as well as a cat, so Cali had lots of animal socialization from a young age. The health guarantee is excellent and we've been taking Cali to the same vet Andrea takes all the pomskies to. Only reason I'm giving anything less than 5 stars is because of the hassle to get in contact with them initially. We first reached out to adopt in May and didn't receive replies until multiple emails were sent, and were finally on an adoption list in July. However, once we were on the list, we heard from Andrea several times a week and were well taken care of. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Canadian Pomsky, but would stress that patience is required as it can take a while to get your name on the list. read more

I have a lovely dog now, but they have far too many puppies to properly care for the animals. My poor puppy had anxiety for such a long time and would eat too fast. She was underweight and had yeast infections on her paws because she was not properly cared for. She couldn't stop throwing up and had nasal mites. She wouldn't make eye contact for about a month. She is lovely now, and is a beautiful animal. It's a puppy mill plain and simple. Very sad for the dogs. read more

We received a dog from this breeder... but when we realized how she was not adapting to our home and we asked the breeder questions they suddenly disappeared. They claim they will be there when you are done, but they are not. We have had to pay for specialized training and spent dozens of hours just coaxing this poor dog out of corners. Not good. We brought home our beautiful girl from Canadian Pomsky just under a month ago. Andrea was absolutely amazing through the entire adoption process. She was very professional, prompt, helpful (she even saved us an hour drive when we went to pick her up) and we could tell how much she cared about the puppies well-being. Our Luna came home with all of her vaccinations, pet insurance trial, microchipped, three-year health guarantee and more. She supplied us with food, treats, toys, a blanket, you name it! Almost everything we could have needed for the first few weeks of welcoming her to her new home. We were extremely happy from start to finish- and are still in contact through social media with her! She loves to see our girls growth and how happy she is in her new home! I would recommend Andrea from Canadian Pomsky to anyone. And have you seen a Pomsky!?! Don't waste your time with this breeder. My husband and I have both tried contacting this breeder by e-mail and received no response at all. It has been 2 months and no reply. We have been checking our inbox and junk mail daily and there is no phone number to contact them either. We have contacted them by Kijiji and on their Instagram inbox. I decided in the spring to get a pomsky. I sent an email with my info. It took some time to get responses but I'm sure it's because they're very busy. I did send a lot of messages and sent reminder emails. I received my puppy at the end of the summer. I sent my deposit and final payment and she was sent the next day. She was flown to Abbotsford by Westjet and arrived safely. She is sweet, lovely and a bundle of curious energy. I had my vet do a checkup and he was impressed with how socialized she was and that she was healthy and well developed. I don't understand the bad reviews. I read them all and I took the chance. This is one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. You won't be disappointed. Be patient, she will answer your emails. read more

Do NOT purchase a puppy from CANADIAN POMSKY AKA-Andrea. I met her in 2018 at her home in Calgary because it was closer to Edmonton rather than travelling to where her puppy mill. Inside she had 4 dogs outside and a new litter with mother in a small kennel. So I'm not too sure if she breeds at her house. I should have known better but did not do my research. Less than a week with our pup home he had gastroenteritis and a developed a large swollen lymph node on his neck he needed draining and was treated with antibiotics. We contacted Andrea and she responded immediately and assured us it is common to happen. Our pup has had gastroenteritis a handful of times. Last year took our pup for his annual check up and I mentioned that he has been walking funny. Long story short, he was diagnosed with bilateral luxating patella, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and this was confirmed under x ray that he required surgery immediately. Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis should not be found in a puppy. It is extremely saddening that we helped support this type of breeding. Our puppy wasn't even a year old and has several health issues. We not only spent a lot of money to purchase him, hundreds of dollars on check ups, medications- now we had to pay THOUSANDS of dollars for the surgery. We love our pup and would do anything for him, I immediately notified Andrea and she did not respond to any email or call. The "contract" states life time support and 3 year health guarantee. Andrea is so gutless she could not even respond. She is in this business for the money and is selling unhealthy animals. Post operation was VERY difficult to see our pup in so much pain, both his back knees were repaired successfully and physical therapy helped strengthen his legs again. Unfortunately, there is no cure for osteoarthritis or osteoporosis, we can only treat it with monthly injections for LIFE. Regardless of everything he is good and well a behaved dog- he is loved and is a part of our family. DO NOT purchase a dog from her. We have spent a lot of money in one year just to maintain his health and improve his quality of life. Andrea, how do you sleep at night knowing you willingly breed sick animal for money? You're disgusting, inhuman-sad excuse of a woman. I pity you. read more
