I set up formalities with her to come on a full time basis starting this summer. I have always paid her on time , my pups are sweeties and we were always respectful. BUT, when I contacted her this spring to start working for me this summer full time, she responded to my initial correspondence and then refused to contact me or my fiancé again after multiple attempts. She didn't have the courtesy or decency to respond back to tell us if her plans may have changed and she was not able to take our pups on this summer, which I found to be highly unprofessional. I have used pet visit providers in Calgary for years with absolutely no problems, this type of unprofessionalism seems to be very unacceptable in a small community like Okotoks. Booking was easy to do online and they are very communicative with reminders and the ability to send them your vaccine records ahead of time (standard vaccines are required for all dogs). Drop-off and pick-up were also easy. You don't need to book a specific time as long as you arrive during their open hours (additional charges apply for early drop-off/late pick-up). The staff were friendly and gave us an update on how her day went. Our pup is a bit on the nervous side so it was great hearing that they took her on an individual walk rather than just letting her out with all of the dogs. Jurassic Bark is a great option for tourists looking to drop their pups off for day care while they do activities they can't bring their companions to and I'd definitely consider them if I was in the area and needed overnight care.
