When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

I tend to shop as much here as I do the Stouffville location, which is the closest one to home. This Giant Tiger is in a huge plaza. It looked rundown when I first visited over a year ago. However, things are busier these days, especially after they spruced up the store and repaved the parking lot. The store is bright and clean. Staff are always helpful and nice. I tend to buy groceries here. I couldn't resist picking up the brownie cake cookies. Don't let the $3 price for a box of them fool you into thinking that the quality is subpar. They are yummy. Eat them in moderation, as they are sugary! This store has a decent selection of salad greens. They are fresh and at decent prices. I tend to get my mayo and other food staples here. As with most Giant Tiger locations, there are washrooms. However, you need a staff member to give you access. I don't recommend going on Saturday afternoon. The lineups were long when I was there. On the upside, there were five registers open. I typically visit after work and lineups are never that bad. They kept the controllers behind a glass case. They had about 7 controllers and to my surprise, the controllers were kept in clear plastic bags! No original Sony packaging! I asked "I thought these were brand new?" The guy there says "these are what we call open-box items. The controllers were just removed from the PS4 system. But they have never been used." That was a total lie because I inspected all the controllers (2 silver, 1 blue, 4 black) and they all had scratches on them. Several of them even had the serial number sticker on the back removed or scratched off. I questioned him about that, and he said "well we've sold many of these and never had a problem". There was a second hand store across from them that I went to and they advised me that this Canadian Outlet Store was notorious for selling refurbished items. Don't trust this place!
