It's very difficult to get service, the staff do not know which aisles products are located on. The photo dept. is frequently closed and the produce is frequently either under or over ripe. I have not had pleasant service at Customer Service and when I call for assistance I am put on hold for extended periods of time without my permission. The staff doesn't seem happy and courteous and it's difficult to get a smile from anyone other than the greeter. I have compared prices and they seem fair enough especially for make-up, canned/jarred items and cleaning supplies. I have purchased electronics from them in the past instead of going into Calgary but their return policy on electronics is very limited.

The counter staff processed her card. I tried to explain this but was rudely told to calm down when i tried to ask a question in regards to this situation. her co worker was equally rude or worse. I had all my teeth removed so was really struggling to even talk and even tried to tell her this in response to her comment. Hanging plants of all kinds in fantastic shape for $14.99 and up. Potting plants, trees of all sizes, with a great selection. I ended up getting 4 hanging plants for under $60.00. I set for the the summer now in the plant department. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly with speedy service through the tills.

needed to stop by the winners on stephen ave at 128 8 avenue sw to grab makeup wipes and browse a…read morelittle, mostly because shopping in alberta still feels satisfying when there's only one tax. winners is always kind of hit or miss though, it really depends on how much time and patience you have to sift through everything. half the store feels completely random, but sometimes that's exactly why the best finds happen. you go in for one basic thing and suddenly end up discovering something unexpectedly good buried between racks and shelves. this location has a different vibe from suburban winners stores too. because it's right downtown on stephen avenue, it feels busier and slightly more curated, lots of office workers, tourists, and people wandering in while walking through downtown. the fashion and beauty sections felt better than expected, with more trendy pieces and fewer completely random leftovers. i ended up finding a butter yellow short sleeve cashmere cardigan on sale, which honestly felt like the perfect winners find, unexpected, specific, and satisfying enough to justify wandering the entire store. there's something weirdly fun about the treasure hunt atmosphere, even if you leave empty handed half the time. the location itself also makes the errand feel more interesting. stepping back out onto stephen avenue with the brick streets, patios, office towers, and downtown crowds makes even a simple winners trip feel a little more cinematic. definitely one of the better winners locations if you're already downtown.

You'll get treatment you'll never forget. I went in on Friday to get my child's blood work done. I came early (5pm) as the numbing cream needed time. Walk-in was to start at 5:30pm.I was paged on my phone at 5:28 pm. I went in and went to the desk. I waited until I was acknowledged by the man in the dark green shirt. He was at the counter (no one at the desk). I explained I had been paged but needed some extra time for the numbing cream to work. He did not give any eye contact, shrugged his shoulders and was arrogant and passive aggressive in his replies. I politely asked for more time for the numbing cream to work. He shrugged his shoulders. He started getting red in the face, his body was shaking and he was shuffling papers. He got angrier and more agitated the more I asked questions, like "does the numbing cream still work if it has not been on the required time?" He said, "How do I know?" and "I don't know anything about numbing cream." Calmly, I told him I would return to the lobby where I was instructed to wait, and waited longer. No one came and got me for my bloodwork. A female patient leaving the office, came to get me. The staff and the other lady at the desk that the manager was with a patient, then that there was no manager. While I was in the lobby, the lady staff member came out with a lady not in scrubs. This might have been the manager. I took my children to the lobby to wait for our ride. I didn't see the man from the lab come down the elevator so he must have taken an other route. He sat in the lobby, texting on his phone. As he left, I told him his behaiour was unacceptable.' I have worked with problematic behaviour as a career, lol. He yelled back, "I am not working right now so I don't have to be nice to you" as he came close to us as he was exiting by the front doors. My daughter was frightened. Thanks to the two wonderful strangers who waited with us outside until my husband showed up. More photos to come & updates. The worst mall I've ever been in! They make toddlers wait to get into their free play area, nothing…read morelike bringing babies to go play somewhere and they aren't allowed in for over an hour. We came to the mall to use the playplace and were going to go shopping after the kids played and got rid of some energy but because of this we will never go this mall again. Also couldn't believe the people running the "customer service" station directly outside the closed off play area. The staff seemed to only care about their phones while we were trying to check in to the ridiculous app. Not sure who's brilliant idea this play area waiting app was but it's having the opposite effect that they were after I'm sure. Won't even go to or order from any of the restaurants attached to this mall, keep up the horrible service

Serendipity's Strathmore is the granddaughter's much-enjoyed consignment shop…read more While browsing before Christmas last year, she found two, lovely pieces of artist-crafted, hand-painted, custom stemware - located in the 'Artisan Market' area of the shop. With her Mom along side (there on a trip at the time), and having us in mind, she purchased the glasses as a 'Love you guys" gift - which daughter brought home, and gifted our way upon return. Though holiday wrapped, we were told to open the package when brought to us, and not wait until Christmas. Which we did, and then tried the glasses for the first time, with some "bubbly" on my December birthday. Our love and thanks again to granddaughter for the loving gesture and glasses. To daughter, for being the loving and personal carrier of the gift. And to Serendipity's Strathmore -- we hear so many good things about your fine shop, and now we have something in-hand to share with those moments.
