This one is ok. This Canadian tire is not helpful and at times, its hard to find people to help you. So came here to purchase a lawn mower because my dad insisted he needed a new one. The place is big and there are lots of parking lot available up front. In terms of Gardening selection, I personally prefer Home Depot over Canadian Tire.

Located in the new plaza on Grandview Hwy, this is probably the flagship store for Canadian Tire in Vancouver, as it's probably the biggest one now in size, over the one on Kingsway, and the one on Cambie. This mammoth of a store has 3 floors, as the floor below has a dedicated bay for maintenance and service of automobiles, and also a shopping area of strictly auto products. When you get to the main area, you really see how massive the store is from left to right. There display floor is nicely decorated with the sale items for the week. The wide isles are easy to maneuver through, especially with a big shopping cart. I usually come here for the flyer sales that start on Saturday of ever week. They carry a good nice selection. Also if someone in your family has to go to Canadian Tire, you can just walk over to Starbucks and have a coffee and wait for them to finish.

Left both my brake reservoir and half a bottle of brake fluid wide open for a week until I finally discovered it! The reservoir cap is nowhere to be found. This has allowed water and debris to enter my brake system, which will now rust from the inside out unless flushed thoroughly. Absolutely unbelievable that someone shut the hood on this mess! Will be taking my vehicle elsewhere in future!!

She called over several employees and security to count my items because I scanned my cat litter with the hand scanner. She harassed me and embarassed me the last time I came here too, the exact same lady for the same issue. I spend $300/week at this location, tons of other places would treat you better as a regular customer in this competitive economy, I'll never be shopping at Walmart again. Superstore just gained a customer!

I put my dollar loonie coin token in the slot and the darn key lock wouldn't come out. Luckily it worked on the other cart beside it. They made a huge change in the checkout area where they converted a large portion of the regular registers into a huge self checkout area. Kinda disappointed at this change since i almost never use self checkout. Granted, it was a little late at 9:30pm, but there were no full serve regular registers available at the time. (only if you pay in actual cash, which i didnt have.) The staff person was nice and rung up my items for me after i requested help. Avoid Wal-mart's homemade pastries! Their cherry turnovers were improperly baked making them super hard to bite into. The amount of cherry filling inside was also lacking. I felt i wasted $6. As i was making my way to the parking lot with my items, i got a unpleasant surprise because there was that fight broke out between the security gaurd and some brazen shoplifters. The shoplifters ran into the wrong store door so it didnt open but they still managed to force themselves out eventually. The security guard tried to grab their stolen goods in a epic tug-of-war match and ultimately lost. The shoplifters got away! Kudos to the security gaurd for trying to stop them. It was a 4 vs. 1 tug of war so he was outnumbered. Also kudos for him vigilantly shooing away people that didn't wear a face mask, which was required, during covid19 . On the plus side, I found a good $2 off deal on shampoo. But best of all, I got a great deal on Purex toilet paper, and there were still plenty left. Got a few packs to use during the second pandemic wave. And yes, you can buy more than one! Score! Overall not bad...3/5.

Public Safety Complaint: Injury Caused by Negligence at Marshalls Marine Drive, Vancouver…read more I am writing to report a serious safety incident that occurred at the Marshalls store on Marine Drive in Vancouver on Monday, August 4, 2025, at approximately 2:30 PM. While trying on a pair of jeans in the fitting room, I suffered a painful and entirely preventable injury due to the store's negligence. As I pulled up the jeans, I was suddenly scratched by a long, sharp, exposed needle protruding from a security tag that lacked a protective end cap. The result was a 15-centimeter-long bleeding cut on my left thigh (I have photos)--a painful and alarming injury that could have easily been avoided with proper safety protocols. Upon realizing the injury, I immediately returned the faulty security tag to Commie, the store associate at the fitting room desk, and showed her the bleeding wound. Commie responded with empathy and promptly escalated the issue to the store manager, Aonchal. Unfortunately, the store's handling of the situation from that point onward was highly unprofessional and deeply disappointing. Despite my request, store Manager Aonchal declined to view the injury and offered only a few adhesive bandages, which were insufficient to cover the full extent of the 15-centimeter bleeding wound on my left thigh, as documented in the attached photos. I was left to treat the injury myself at home, using my own medical supplies to adequately dress the laceration. Manager Aonchal further stated that there was "nothing they could do," and advised me to contact the company's 1-800 customer service line at a later time. No formal incident report was filed, and at no point was there any demonstration of genuine concern for my safety or well-being. As a result, I felt dismissed, unsupported, and treated in a manner lacking basic compassion and professionalism. In response to my continued concern and request for a professional resolution, another manager, Omer, arrived and offered a $25 gift card. I declined this offer, as I found it to be an inadequate and dismissive response to a serious physical injury. A bleeding wound of this nature--caused by a store's carelessness--is not worth $25. My intention in raising this issue was not for compensation alone, but to highlight a dangerous lapse in customer safety standards that could affect others, including children. This was not merely an unfortunate incident--it was a public safety hazard. The failure to properly secure a sharp object on a garment is a clear case of negligence, and it exposes all customers to potential harm. --- I formally urge Marshalls and its parent company, TJX Canada, to: Immediately review and correct in-store procedures for tagging and securing merchandise. Ensure all security tags are safely capped or removed before trying-on. Implement proper training for staff in responding to customer injuries, including incident documentation and basic first aid response. Acknowledge this incident and take public responsibility for the harm caused. --- I am now left with a painful wound, a visible scar on my left thigh, and a sense of mistrust in your store's ability to protect and care for its customers. I share this publicly in the hope that no one else has to suffer from the same injury or the same dismissive treatment I experienced. Sincerely, A concerned and injured customer

IN STORE: 5 ONLINE SHIP&SOLD BY WALMART: ZERO…read more in store it's great. Well stocked always tons of staff. Lots of shopping carts. Terrible parking lot set up but it is what it is, great mall access on both floors. A bit terrible when it comes to cash payment if you want to go to the mall you gotta turn around after checking out and go walk through Walmart to the other exits that lead to the mall where you then get the eye about if you paid or not so it's a tad of a hassle. Online. Online they are terrible. Give them a GRADE F- Ordered 3 times with them DURING COVID: unclear that you are buying from 3rd party and paid nothing shipped no response from seller and Walmart throws up the hands and pretends it's not their issue at all no idea don't care not our problem. POST COVID: ordered a few sterlite boxes. Website shows. Based on my postal code. There was sufficient stock. Ordered "3" and 5 small and large. They "cancelled my 3" and shipped the 5. Because I needed a matching set it is now below the threshold to order lone "3" from elsewhere. Nowhere to cancel. Reached out to chat. Confirms. Canceled. Got that "3" times telling me straight up after asking. Yes. It is cancelled. Nothing will ship. You will get notified in about an hour it's all cancelled. Yeah? 1 hour later get notification. It shipped. Called them. Oh. We can't do anything about it but you can refuse it or once it's arrived you can take the trip and come give it back to us at your nearest Walmart or we can give you a label to send back... oh yeah. I ordered from BC and they ship from BC... you wanna send it back?.... The return label goes to ONTARIO so until they get the things back they hold your money hostage for about 2 more weeks. Ridiculous!! Turns out. I did need more. Enough to place another order of free ship. And one arrived cracked. Packed cracked. Not damaged in transit. Sloppy employees don't even check its condition before sending to you Okay. Dragged it back to their store. Oh. We don't refund in store. It will be automatically on your card you paid. You should get it in "5-10 business days". What a joke Ordered second order of 8 and 8 and one of each size again arrives cracked chipped broken. Yet again. Dragged it to the store. Yep yep once again money held hostage for days on end Overall. Cannot recommend the online option. Walmart.ca is a NIGHTMARE! However. In store the experiences have been great. Stick to Amazon omg. Amazon is like A+++ compared to Walmart which clearly earns a F- and that's being super generous Walmart: great prices, quick to take your money, absolutely incompetent if things go wrong with online orders, and customer service is more aggravating than the situation itself.

The staff/ managers are very helpful. I'm a newer member and have had some trouble with my temp credit card and membership not scanning and managers have been quick to help each time. Once , instead of telling me to go to the back of another line, one manager just helped me at a register that was on the side via manager's override. No contempt or passive aggressiveness in dealing with my issue , just continued to help me out in a friendly tone. Decent areas to sit at the concession area. I find the newer system for self checkout ver efficient. If you have a cart of less than 25 items, a costco staff will scan all your times via scanning gun and all you have to do is scan your membership and pay. No need to scan each item again. Very efficient and simple ! I prefer that method other other checkouts.
