First of all, let me say that I love the little local history lesson I get every time I visit this place. The owner of the shop always has a thought of the day . Today I was looking for a present for a friend. A putz house. This antique store is a mini treasure trove. I get hypnotized looking at all the goodies. Today the little jewelry area was very popular. And I love looking at the kitchen items and the clothing. It's a lovely little store, and I always forget about giving my money to the lady here!! read more

Very over priced stuff. You can find the same exact items on ebay for half the price. No returns or store credit on broken items.

What a lovely way to spend some time ~ there are things of every kind here ~ and it is like a wonderful walk down memory lane. Pins, trinkets, photographs, albums, collectibles, toys....you have to stand still just to take it all in! The size of the store will surprise you ~ and the amount for sale is astounding. Each piece has a story to it and you can feel the rich history in this shop from corner to corner. A very unique, fun place to visit. read more

I think it is quite a stretch to call this a thrift store ("Forgotten" Treasures?) because it appears that atleast half of their inventory is brand new and often equal to the cost at retail stores. I've even caught the same items cheaper in stores than this place. I honestly have no clue how they are still operating.

The food alone is worth the trip! The giant BBQ turkey leg with mashed potatoes and gravy is a must-try. The ribs are also outstanding.
