Antique stores are big treasure chests. When one shops at antique stores for home decor items, you are truly choosing a special way of creating a home that is all your own. You are sourcing items for your home that have a story.   Located on King Street in historic Mount Holly, my partner and I came today to this establishment looking for a small table in our living room.   Upon arrival at Center Stage Antiques, we were greeted by the staff, who gave us the layout of the building, full of French and American antique collectibles. This place is big, with an 18,000 sq. ft. showroom and warehouse that has a huge selection with much better quality and is reasonably priced. They sell top name brands such as Ethan Allen, Harden, Thomasville, Kittinger, Henredon, Hickory Chair, Pennsylvania House, Hitchcock, and more. They have 1,000s of new pieces arriving each month.   In the end, we were happy to find our Serpentine table and were able to exchange words with one of the owners, Amy.   If you are in the market for antique furniture, they have a great selection that we can recommend. read more

I discovered Center Stage Antiques through their ebay listings, but only live about an hour away, so my wife and I drove there and spent three hours there looking at all their stuff. They have a two-story warehouse full of antique furniture and unusual collectibles. Much of it wasn't to my taste, but they did have some beautiful things, and everything has character. We were looking for something more contemporarary, and found a cherry Ethan Allen curio cabinet and a nice mahogany console table, reasonably priced. Amy and Jeff were very cool, helped us with everything we asked, and personally delivered the pieces to my home several days later. On the down side, the inside of the cabinet smells like cigarettes, which was not apparent in the store or during delivery. I was able to clean it to only remove some of the odor. Wood is porous, so be aware of this issue when buying used or vintage items that's been in someone else's home. read more

Highway robbery. They sell subpar quality items dressed up as legitimate antiques. The owner Jeff is very rude and got offended when trying to reason with him about something. They buy stuff at yard sales and mark it up 5000% do not shop here unless you want fake antiques and low quality knock offs. read more

They have a beautiful assortment of antiques, lots of pieces from France that are amazing. If you're looking for that prefect piece of furniture to complete your home, Center Stage is the place to look. The store is big, the main room, a second floor filled with pictures and more furniture, a big warehouse at the back, and even a few pieces outside ready to decorate your outdoors. The staff is friendly and helpful. They'll help you load your car or they also offer delivery. The only negative is that their store hours are very limited, but they do feature a lot of their items on eBay too. I can hardly wait to find my next treasure there! read more

I can't speak to their retail location, but I had a great experience purchasing through eBay. Jeff was very patient in answering my shipping questions and since I live in New York, they were able to deliver the items themselves for very reasonable rates (and on time too). And of course, their prices are very competitive. I'm looking forward to purchasing from Center Stage again. read more

Absolutely one of the best Antique collectors on the east coast. This place should be a must visit. I must say they have a huge store that is clean and organized . They have lots of items from beds, chairs, art work, desk, curios, 1 of a kind furniture, unique furniture , hand made furniture, collectibles and accent pieces. If your looking for a specific piece stop there and you will say wow. This place is like a mega store for furniture. I drove from Ocean City Maryland. It was worth the trip. Jeff the owner was one of the most honest individuals I met. I purchased a dresser off their ebay store it was as described. He gave me a tour of the store, took his time to describe various items. I purchased an Ethan Allen highboy dresser from this business through Ebay. The owners delivered the item personally, and even helped us carry it upstairs to the second floor!! Buyer beware! Do not purchase anything from these people, please! Purchased a large piece of high end furniture off of their e-Bay store which was represented as "in good condition". When it arrived, it had poorly executed repairs to the frame where the back had separated from the side. The top and bottom of the piece were racked; therefore the drawers wouldn't fully open and the doors would not close properly. The top interior supports were either unattached or broken so the shelves cannot be shelves. It had obvious water damage at some point as evidenced by the warped trim on the bottom. Had to open a case on eBay to try to return the item and get a refund. Owner insisted it was a leveling issue. After a lengthy phone call in which owner pushed for getting piece repaired, he agreed to refund it if we would destroy it and then send him photos. Seriously? He then agreed to refund our $ and have the piece returned to him. He did neither. He blamed the problems on our shipper and eBay sided with him. We appealed and got our refund, but it wasn't from him. E-bay's buyer protection guarantee provided the refund. Center Stage Antiques egregiously misrepresented the condition of the furniture and got away with it. Don't let them do it to you! Disgusted in Texas read more

Purchased a sofa from this store through EBay. Frame was unstable and 2 of the legs were loose. Seller first tried to blame delivery company but then agreed to pay for repair. Seller later refused to pay for repair and would only issue refund if I sent the sofa back to him. This would have cost at least $300.00 so was not an option. Had to file a dispute w/PayPal to get my money back. Seller would not do anything. Do not purchase anything from this store through EBay or in person. My cost to repair the sofa was more than I paid for it. Don't let this company do this to you. In response to Centerstage's comment on my review. I paid $300.00 for the delivery of this sofa plus the $525.00 purchase price. I think this company wanted me to settle this w/them for $250.00 so they would not get a negative E-Bay review. I only painted it after he agreed to pay for the damages . (PayPal agreed that I should not pay a total of $600.00 in delivery fees by returning a damaged sofa in order to get a $525.00 refund) PayPal would not have sided with me had I not had a case! The sofa was taken to a furniture repair place where they discovered that the frame was almost split in two. I have an e-mail from Jeff that said he would pay for the majority of the damages. I offered to get a second opinion when he did not want to pay the high repair bill. I wish that the leg had only been loose on this sofa. I have everything well documented with pictures and e-mails. As you can see from other Yelp reviews-I am not the only one that was ripped off by this company. I paid $560.00 plus had to rent a truck to get it to the repair place so this sofa could be useable. I now have to pay the upholstery company to pick it up from the shop. Do not let this happen to you! read more

I chose a set of 3 ceramic birds from a display cabinet, agreed an a slightly discounted price with the sales person at the desk and left the birds there while I continued to shop. When I was ready to pay for them a second person stated they were already sold to someone by telephone a day earlier although the birds were on the sales floor and not marked as sold and the second clerk admitted they had not yet been paid for. This is unethical behavior on the part of sales staff. She said the parties were to come in before the end of the day to pick up the birds which were now out of sight. I stopped back in a hour later and was told the parties had already picked them up. When I searched for the birds on the internet hoping to find another source I discovered these were valuable Jacques Adnet cermamics. I suspect the first clerk was unaware of that but the second clerk was and so withdrew the birds after an agreement to purchase. I am a recently divorced man of moderate years. I knew nothing about decorating. I walked into Center Stage and was amazed at the range and quality of the pieces. All were reasonably priced at a deep discount off their original value. The staff was enormously helpful. I went back three weekends in a row and finished my living room and dining room with pieces I purchased there. My only regret is that I don't need anything else right now so I don't have and excuse to go back! read more
