I have had nothing but a positive experience with this place. From my first visit to my last. Every person on staff made me feel welcome. They were all very helpful. I had a wonderful OB who made the whole pregnancy experience a good one for me. Especially with this being my last child. If I had found this place years ago I would have had all of my children here. I am done with this practice. My children and husband have had several illnesses misdiagnosed or simply missed altogether. The billing department is unhelpful and inconsistent in what they charge for. Eight months ago I contacted them with a discrepancy in charges for well child visits for my four children. All had runny noses (AKA a common cold). Half the visits were charged as respiratory infections, resulting in co-pays. When I asked billing why the differences in charges, they said it was the doctor's discretion and they don't require consistency. Charging insurance companies extra fees seems to be their priority. The doctor provided no extra care for any of my children during these visits other than to recommend additional fluids. I'm a mother of four; I already know this. I will be looking for new care for my entire family. read more

I have never seen such a large group of rude, judgemental, heartless and unprofessional people in the medical profession as I have here at the OBGYN. Almost all of the nurses and secretaries make me feel like a worthless burden to society everytime I go in there! And the doctors make you feel like a non priority too, They all talk about you in groups right in front of you and publicly announce your first and last name in the office area, checkout and waiting room! No matter how bad the news is if you cry they will treat you like you have no right to be upset, I've even had them raise their voices at me and hang up on me, if you hate people so much why are you in the medical profession!! Time to find some new people who actually treat you like a human being! read more

If you like seeing a different doctor every time you go in you will love Canandaigua Medical Group (CMG). For four decades, when I rarely needed a doctor I had a wonderful physician there. Now I'm an old man and have serious medical conditions CMG can not provide me with the same doctor for more than two years in a row. They just changed me again for the 4th doctor in 5 years and I said 'enough'. I did some research, selected on of their doctors who seemed to have a bit of stability and requested that doctor. No deal. They left me with the assigned doctor. Clearly the interest's of CMG are more important to them than the interest's of me, their patient. The front desk leaves a lot to be desired too but I would be content to have the same GP monitoring my health. read more

This place looks very obsolete and in need of urgent renovation. It looks like a World War II barrack and not a medical center! With the prices they charge now for healthcare, they should dedicate some funds to making the place cleaner and more welcoming. It is clearly mismanaged and neglected. read more

I have been going to the group for I long time. Cannot say enough about the medical staff and the care I get from my physician and clinical staff. I always get an answer to my questions and an appointment when I need it. Almost no wait time when being seen. I do sometimes have to see a nurse practitioner because my doctor is too full.
