When she asked what was in the shot, he would not tell her but just said "do you want it or not?". When she asked again what was in it, he replied " you are being difficult. While going through an…read moreintestinal infection I was put on Cipro and flagyl after telling my PA that I couldn't take these meds due to severe adverse reactions. He was insistent that I take these meds as another med was obscure and possibly hard to get, it wasn't. I ended up in the ER with a severe, adverse reaction and felt like I was going to die. Another time when I told him I couldn't wipe my behind anymore he laughed and asked if I had some guy named Juan following me around to do that for me. Turns out I didn't need some guy named Juan. What I did need was a massive shoulder reconstruction to fix the problem that the PA was completely clueless about. A different PA I saw there asked me how many DWIs. The answer was none. These people absolutely suck. Go else where for your health care needs.

Dr. Bonnie starts every session with a brief consultation where she asks how I've been feeling, if I have any concerns or particular issues to address, and during it all she takes notes. She then creates a customized acupuncture plan to address my needs. The session lasts just over an hour. Dr. Bonnie also offers other services - I think she has a massage therapist who works with her, and they also do cupping - but I have only worked with her for medical consultations (to review bloodwork results and talk about vitamins and supplements) and acupuncture. In terms of the office, it is easy to find, right on Rt. 332 just outside the north end of the village of Canandaigua. The office is in an old brick building that used to be a trolley terminal. There is street parking in front of the office and also parking in the back. Inside the office there is a small cozy waiting room and there are at least 4, maybe 6, rooms outfitted with massage-table-type cots and side tables and chairs. Usually you meet with Dr. Bonnie in this room then get on the table for your treatment. I definitely recommend Dr. Bonnie for acupuncture, and also feel she is a great naturopathic resource if you are also looking for someone to consult with in addition to a western-style primary care physician. She is knowledge, kind and curious, and is very focused on individual wellness.

The rest of the staff was also great. Relatively new to the area I sought out a family practitioner and called for an appointment for my annual physical. I saw the nurse practitioner, not the doctor and was given only the most cursory of exams--height, weight and blood pressure pretty much covered it. Sometime later I received a postcard reminding me that, as a 50 year old, a colonoscopy would be prudent, so I called and was given an appointment. When I came down I finally met Dr. Foote and was given a physical. On completion I was given a phone number to call to schedule my colonoscope .So I call for a physical, don't get a physical, call for a scope, get a physical instead. When I called him out on it, Dr. Foote agreed that the Thompson Medical marketing department was in the wrong.

it is extremely hard to get your test results back from this place it takes you weeks of calling…read morethen you end up getting them in the mail with a letter saying they were unable to contact you. which you have been home waiting for their call plus gave them different numbers to contact and gave them permission to leave message on answer machine. plus you have to be willing to wait at least an hour to see a doctor. would love to find another doctor but have had no luck yet. when i do i will be gone!!!
