The only thing I was taken back was how disorganized the desk staff was. Even with my set arrival time it took the front desk 30 minutes to get me checked in. Once I was seen my the medical staff in the back, I was blown away. I've been to other RGH affiliated urgent care centers and they did not seem that clean, the Dr's or PA's weren't that knowledgeable. The Dr, that came to see me, took his time to fully understand what was going on with me and prescribed me a treatment that would have been very similar to one of the specialists I see. His bed side manor was helpful, funny and he put me at ease. Over all I was fully impressed with the treatment. If I was to break down the stars would be 3 for the front desk staff, and 5 for the medical staff once you get taken back. If I'm ever on that side of town and need urgent care, I would not hesitate to go back there. I may even drive out of my way to go there if my Primary care is booked.

This is my go to urgent care, I made an appt, they were able to see me a few hours later. Andrew was so kind and prepared my arm and foot for PA Dewanshi Patel. They worked in perfect harmony. X-ray, performed by Sue determined a foot fracture and ligament sprain. The skin tears on my arm were cleaned and steri-strips applied. What surprised me the most was Dewanshi's creation of a custom posterior leg splint with sugar tong using ortho glass. The walking boot was so painful I could not walk. This McGiver splinter was beyond perfect. It required both Andrew and Dewanshi to apply. I was able to stand, utilized a cane and able to hobble out. The care I received was incredible, they made sure I was safe and confident with the cane. I will have no hesitation returning to this facility and have already referred family and friends.

I called asking for the doctor to listen to my lungs. They said no, I had to go to urgent care. Which is ridiculous because it's their job to treat us, not take up resources at urgent care (plus make us pay more). I then asked for a script to go to an imaging center to check my lungs. Again they refused saying they didn't know or anyplace that would do an X-ray. I was astounded asking how could a medical facility not know this. I even gave them the address. They refused and again said urgent care. So here I am at urgent care where the PA has indeed heard fluid in my lungs and ordered an X-ray. Doctors, PAs and nurses need to be able to put their hands on you and examine you. We are past virtual visits. The poor Urgent care was also upset that doctors keep doing this. They don't have the staff to keep seeing patients that physicians can and should see.

Received a message that stated I was all set so closed out of my browser. But apparently there were more screens to be filled out. The nurse practitioner was fantastic. So nice and listened to me. 102 fever for over a week and antibiotics were not helping my sinus infection. The NP was sweet and did her testing to confirm it was a bad infection and needed strong medication. I would totally go again.

For example, you screen for syphilis, yet no one spoke with me about why that test was being ordered or whether it was appropriate based on my history or risk factors. I cannot help but wonder whether the same assumptions and actions would have been taken if I were Caucasian. Regardless of the answer, the lack of communication and informed consent has significantly undermined my trust in my healthcare provider
