She came across as rude and arrogant. Cannot fault any other members of staff that I have had the pleasure of meeting in there. The shop itself is quite small. There isn't much room to move around if it is busy, especially at christmas when they have extra shelving out with cards, gifts and decorations. However with it being a smaller shop you do get a much better service. There's always a good selection of clothes, bags and shoes as well as DVDs, books and CDs. Sometimes they can be a little bit thin on mens and kids but its obviously just because that stuff hasn't been donated. This is definitely one of the friendliest charity shops in the locality, I just wish they would reeducate that one staff member on how to treat a paying customer.

Large normal clothes range, then also has the plus sizes and the 9-15 range for teenagers. Further to this there is underwear, shoes, accessories such as hair bands and slides, belts and jewellery and some gifts. The gift range expands quite a lot over Christmas. Always been served by friendly and helpful staff and my only complaints would be that sometimes I have had to wait for a changing room and there isnt any big enough for a pushchair as well.

There is a good selection for plus size and also petite. Ample amounts of accessories and shoes, plus nightwear and underwear which is bonus seeing as they are so reasonably priced. It is right at the top of town, but well worth the effort to get there. There is a large amount of changing rooms and you rarely have to wait to use them. Nice amount of checkouts which means the waiting time here is kept to a minimum also.

For starters when you get there you have to walk up a flight of very utilitarian stairs before you see anything to write home about but once you go into their enormous hall of mountains of fabrics in edible colours, I warn you, you'll be like a little kid in Santas Grotto. It is just sooo incredibly huge, there are fabrics and yarns and notions I had never seen before. The colours were like something out of an old masters painting. It took all my effort to tear myself away. I thought places like this only existed in America....TG we have this........a real emporium!

The staff are very friendly and helpful with queries on things like patterns and they also have an amazing selection of offcuts. To give an example, I bought material to make 4 bridesmaid dresses in there including all underskirt etc for £40 total from their offcuts section. Well worth a visit.

The Card Factory in Truro opened towards the end of 2008. I have found that there cards are at a…read moremuch lower price than most other card shops which offer the same quality cards. The first time I visited I found the cards were so cheap that I ended up buying more cards than I originally intended! The cards seem to be of a very high standard for the price and so far I have been very impressed. However they did seem to have a lot of staff when I visited before Christmas and many did not seem to be to doing much work despite the long queues.
