I have been using the Green Cleaners in Milford Center for sevearl years to launder my shirts, some…read moredry cleaning and alterations. Normally I would bring 6 to 10 shirts to be washed , starched and pressed, the price was $2.20 each. At a recent pick up of 6 shirts I only had 1 shirt that I dropped off. To my utter surprise, they charged me $3.40 since I only had one shirt!!! Are you kidding a 50% surcharge.. When I asked the owner why it was $3.20 she said..."Only one shirt, that's the price" I said I come here on a regular basis and you are charging me extra since I only had one shirt this time. I asked her if she was willing to lose a regular customer for $1.20???? She ignored the question and charged me the $3.20 price and said "next time bring 2 shirts,,only $2.20 each!!! I took christening gowns that were over 30 years old to be cleaned and pressed for my kids, suits and dresses worn to special events, and they did a beautiful job with them. So they're not all bad, except when it comes to accepting responsibility for mistakes. The owner tried telling me that the white shirt was really blue. I said, "You're mistaken, I brought you a WHITE shirt that you have turned it light blue." He said, "I don't add any blue to it." I took the shirt to another cleaner, and he said that the solution was probably dirty, he could have fixed it, but I tried washing it at home, and that just set the color. I am disappointed. We can always afford anothe shirt, but that may not always be the case. We trust these people with things we have worked for, and they come back to us flawed and with no regard for accountability.

It looks like it is set up well to use the machines and they have those wire baskets on wheeled so you can move your laundry from the washer to the dryer. Wash dry fold is now $1.45 a pound (as of July 1, 2024). The people do wonderful job and are very responsive and easy to work with.
