Rating - Zero stars If it would let me! I needed sleeves…read moreshortened prior to a trip to Europe. I brought the garment in 3 weeks in advance and was told it would be ready a week before departure. When I arrived on the appointed day, I was told it had not been done and was asked to return later that day. I could see that she was behind in her work and volunteered to wait until the following Monday, but explained that I needed the alterations by Thursday at the very latest.. I was told to return on Tuesday, When I did, the place was closed. There was a sign saying it would be closed until Thursday due to an" emergency." I returned on Thursday morning, and was now told it needed just a few minutes of work, but I should come back in the P.M. She would call the minute it was done. I left without complaint and waited for her call, which never came. I called her at 4 o"clock and was told it wasn't done and she had no intention of finishing it that day. When I reminded her of my trip the next day, she told me that she didn't care. After all these are"simply clothes. Give me a break. They're not priorities." She told me to come and get my unfinished garment and hung up the phone on me. I did just that . I took the garment and found someone who cared more about both her own work and my needs and altered it on the spot. I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional she was - especially to someone who had already offered to help her out and volunteered to wait until the last minute to ease her stress. My advice -- go elsewhere.
