Rarely, have I witnessed a production so elaborate this side of Broadway. The costumes alone were exquisite and Judging from the logjam of six figure German SUVs lining the parking lot I immediately stopped wondering where such funding could have possibly come from. Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... Maybe Justin Timberlake and Beyonce performing live on a levitating platform of pure platinum. Like the bumper sticker says... My other car is a Ferrari. Times they sure have changed. A great show.

Long Review Alert! I had high expectations from this Daycare…read morewhen i did the tour and read all the great reviews, but I was highly disappointed. We picked this daycare even though it was farther away from our home. To give some background, My daughter was 18 months when we enrolled her in this school. She was in another daycare since she was 7 months and the only reason we had to switch was because we moved to Edison. We loved her previous daycare. 1) At little treasures my daughter took so long to adjust. Every morning she wouldn't want to go there and was so clingy in the evening when she returned home. She was in Penguins classroom. 2) I felt the overall atmosphere in LT was not warm and non-welcoming.We had to drop her at around 7:45am when none of her class teachers were there. So she had to be dropped off in another classroom with another teacher who was least concerned about her. She wouldn't bother to say Hi to us or our daughter or welcome her any way. Some days she would completely ignore us . Drop offs were very unpleasant. When we raised our concern to the director, she said someone was going to take a look.Of course that never happened. I don't know how they do Quality control for such issues. 3) Timings of the regular teachers were such that we could never catch them if we were dropping and picking up outside 9-6pm window. During those hours it was only the part time teachers who had no clue if you ask them any question about your child. It created such a disconnect for us with her class teachers. So only way to communicate was to call them all the time for any major/minor question. Because otherwise we never met them in person. LT could provide better coverage for parents who because of their work schedule don't get to meet the main teachers. 4)A few times when I did a late drop off so i can meet her teachers (and reach my work late as well), I noticed that my daughter didn't wanted to go to her lead teacher who has been with her for couple of months. With Little kids It is very simple to tell who they like and who they don't. I don't think there was any attempt made to bond with my daughter. 5) Daily reports were hand scribbled with very minimum information of what the child ate during meal time. If I can find, I will post a picture of one of the reports. Imagine first we don't get to meet her teachers regularly and the only way we are relying to get some info is via the daily reports which were nearly useless. Once I requested her teacher to write more descriptive report including if she had milk (incase she did not eat food). I was told that for kids of her age (18 months), focus should be more on the food then milk so they never gave us that info. 6) LT is extremely structured that makes the teachers here more concerned about following the schedule and intense curriculum. The last meal/snack time was 3:30pm, and by the time i arrived my daughter would be so hungry and screaming for Milk. Nothing is offered to the child after the last meal because that is not in the schedule. It seems like the teachers are overworked. The type of words that she learned quickly and repeated at home speaks a lot- 'Stop It' 'Go Sit Down' 'Listen to me' 7)Also they would take the kids outside even in cold weather and told us to send appropriate clothing to bundle up or keep the child home if you don't want them to go outside. I don't understand How would the teachers keep the child bundled up who keeps taking off her hat or shoes or mittens even when outside. Overall I feel my child never bonded well with her teachers during the 5 months. Nobody really cared if she didn't come to the school one of the days or it was her last day at the school. Little kids need just a bit more love when they are away from their parents to help them cope emotionally. It was this thing which was really missing at LT. I am not sure about other classrooms or other teachers but our experience with this specific class was not great. The only positive side was state of art facility which is kept very clean and a structured curriculum . I wish I had decided against it so that my daughter wouldn't have gone through another change in 5 months. I wouldn't recommend this center to any of my friends.

He cried most mornings before school and begged us not to go. We later saw Ms. Laisha and Ms. Wessal yelling at toddlers--aggressive, loud, and completely inappropriate. One of them even physically shoved our son in front of us. We raised our concerns with the franchise owners, Kinjal Parekh and Tina Patel, and were told we were "too picky." Their response wasn't to investigate or support our child--it was to suggest we leave. The front office staff, Ms. Ada and Ms. Kathryn, offered vague responses and no follow-through. We asked for documentation and staff qualifications and were met with deflection or silence. Other parents have had similar experiences--and some were asked to sign nondisclosure agreements. That should alarm anyone considering this school. We filed a complaint with the state and removed our child immediately. He still talks about the fear he felt in that classroom. This school failed our family. Please think twice before sending your child here.

The center is unique because of its hospital affiliation providing high quality training to the educators and nurturing care to all children. It is also NAEYC accredited. The center is open all year round except for major holidays and provides before and after care programs. Each classroom has certified teachers and aids who provide exceptional care from infancy to kindergarten and offer camp in the summer. Currently, two of my children are enrolled in the child care center and this past June my oldest graduated from kindergarten. My youngest is currently enrolled in the infant classroom. The supervising teacher Debi ( baby whisperer) and all her staff are AMAZING and help foster a nurturing, loving and safe environment for my baby. When my baby started daycare she would not sleep in a crib at home and only slept in a recliner, Debi and her staff transitioned her to sleep in a crib in ONE week. I can't thank them enough! The child center also helped facilitate toilet training with my first and second children, I couldn't do it without their help. The child center also offers recreational activities such as ballet, hip hop dance, soccer, tennis, computers and swimming which my girls enjoyed very much. They also go on field trips to an apple orchard, Liberty Science Center, and to see a Play. The facility is very clean and safe and the office staff ( Helen, Marie, Anna, Anitha and director/principle Dr. Avonia Richardson-Miller) are always so helpful and pleasant and have always adressed any concerns I had. The kindergarten program is one -of-a-kind, the teacher Miss Erin is amazing!!! She is so passionate about teaching and she engages her students, making learning enjoyable and fun. Miss Erin has provided a great foundation for my daughter, and because of her, my daughter is confident and has excelled as a student. Miss Erin is the most organized and talented teacher you will ever meet . I would highly recommend KWJ for kindergarten to every parent. The staff is dedicated to providing high quality child care services. I always felt my kids were in great hands; greatly cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. The staff at KJW are like family who have had such a great impact on my children's lives . God bless the all for such excellent care.

While I'm not discounting the negative reviews you may find here, I think an account of a negative experience with a specific teacher shouldn't hinder you from finding out more about Jump!

I sent my two daughters to this school. They were in pre-school 2.5 and 3. The first thing that…read moremade me feel something was wrong was the abnormally high teacher turnover (7 different teachers in less than a year). Granted this was during COVID but none of the other schools had such a high turnover. It was also messy, disorganized and their communication was horrible. I think could have lived with all that. However, my 3 year old came home with a black eye one day. She told me that "Ms Yin Li kicked her in the face with her foot because she was angry that she would not fall asleep during nap time". When I called the school the next day to ask what happened, the principal, owner and other staff, tried to give me 100 theories as to what could have happened to her (she must have bumped herself against the cot, she probably hit herself against the bench because kids fight for the red bench, it happened outside of school, etc) instead of focusing on what my child was saying, that the teacher kicked her because she wouldn't nap. I tried to have the school press charges against Yin Li, but she also had already resigned and they told me it was "too late" (maybe 5 weeks had passed since the incident) so I decided to file a complaint with the state's Department of Children and Families (which came back inconclusive but at least I reported and recorded the incident). Please don't send your kids to this place, there are other much better schools in the area. I met up with one of the parents a few weeks ago and about 80% of the kids moved on to other schools as well.
