At other veterinary offices he has always been super nervous, shaking head-to-toe, but he is perfectly relaxed whenever we visit. Recently, he experienced a severe injury to his foot; severe enough that it was unclear if he'd be able to walk or run again. They got him in right away, and Dr. Bradford took amazing care of him! It's been a month since the accident, and he is pain free and seems to be on the path to full recovery. Because of COVID some of the wait times have been a little longer than usual, but I'm sure it is hard to estimate how much extra time is needed with all the added protocols. But the wait is definitely worth it, because they give every pet the time needed to provide the best care. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this clinic is!

I'm heart broken and disgusted with the no help I received. it appears to me, it's all about the money and not your pet. you would think they would in the least apologize for their behavior. of course they didn't . I took my dog here for the first time this week, three days of daycare, and we both LOVE it. We've had bad experiences with other places - either he sits in a crate by himself all day and barely gets a potty break, or he gets to be crazy with other dogs but obviously isn't well supervised because he comes home limping. The best part about Barktown is that they have a twitter feed and post pictures of playtime! I can see my dog is having a good time while I'm at work, and I know he's being well watched. It's a little expensive, but it's worth it to me to know and be able to see that he's being taken care of and happy. The staff is super friendly too, and there was no cancelation fee when it turned out I didn't need daycare for one day.

Always a cynic, I was hesitant to spend the money on acupuncture for my 13 yr old…read moredachshund, Loki, who has chronic back issues, however, as his condition continued to get deteroriate and traditional medicines were not helping, my husband and I decided to give Dr. Matt's practice a try. We couldn't be happier and are now complete believers! Since his acupuncture, Loki has a new lease on life! Dr. Matt is caring, thorough and goes to the extra trouble to explain everything in as much detail as you desire....I asked lots of questions, and all of them were answered. He is very knowledgeable on Eastern medicine and recommended some additional herbal therapies. The needles never seemed to cause Loki any pain and the sessions lasted less than an hour. We had a total of 5 initial treatments, and will do quarterly tuneups going forward. We saw drastic improvements after just 2 sessions. Loki is now pain free and as nimble as a dog 1/2 his age. Steroids never did that for him! I highly recommend giving this practice a try to anyone experiencing chronic issues with their pet.
