We were taking a trip out of town for a short vacation and had good success with Pet Paradise previously. This time was even better than before. I don't know how but the employees we spoke with on the phone and those we worked with made the drop and pickup quite comfortable and enjoyable. I know our little Jack Russel's were well cared for and happy... you can watch your pups play outside supervised right through the app!! I will NEVER bring my dogs back here! After getting home I had to take all 3 of them to the vet and they each had Kennel cough. They said you can see your pets on camera while they are there but it's 15 minute intervals twice a day. So my dogs spent 23.5 hours in a kennel for the 2 full days I was gone. I took my mini schnauzer for a grooming due to its close proximity to my new place and they did not disappoint. The ladies were friendly and the grooming was fantastic. The groomer was Deja Hyder and she was awesome. She took care of my furbaby Gizmo and she was very attentive and followed all instructions carefully. The bath and groom was $65 minus the tip. The place was clean inside and outside. They also do daycare and boarding but I have not tried them yet. read more

Well, today I picked up my doodle pup and he smelled like days old urine. He was more anxious than normal when I picked him up. The previous stay they downgraded his room but did not inform us. We wouldn't have known if it wasn't for us taking a look on the live cam. They stated that a family extended a reservation but that doesn't excuse them from notifying us and reducing the price of the stay. I gave the business the benefit of the doubt and blamed it on the staff that day. They lowered the price when it was brought up at check out. If you love your pet you should considered a somewhere else. read more

Make sure you go over your price invoice BEFORE you leave your pet ! They change prices at pickup!! Even if you have a print out detailing price breakdown. And they tell you its only an "estimate just like a car dealership before your final price" avoid JEN the assistant manager at all costs she's extremely rude and has a major attitude problem. read more

This place has been awesome. We have been going there over a year now and the Staff are wonderful! My Girl loves to go everyday and she is very excited to get there and see all of the staff and her friends in the play yard! I do recommend this place if you want to get your pup to get some socialization and have a controlled environment with a lot of fun for your pup. They are pretty awesome about communicating anything that may happen just as if it was your child in school! So full disclaimer, we have only used this facility once for 3 nights (just moved to Tampa). My husband and I were impressed with the facility - looked and smelled clean. :-) I think the biggest + for me was seeing all the super happy dogs when I dropped my babies off; something told me they were just doing it right. Upon pick-up, they were outside in the yard playing with all the other dogs of their size. We have a 5 lb and 10 lb dog, and I have worked with other boarding facilities that always places my small one with dogs much too big for her size. I'm glad this facility seemed to understand my concern and keep the small dogs with the small dogs (no offense to big dogs). Lastly, since it was our first time, they asked many questions at drop-off, so give yourself plenty of time if leaving for a trip, and know they are only asking to ensure the best stay for your fur-kid. read more

I regret to say that I won't trust them with my pet again; he was clean and happy when we left him, but upon picking him up, he was dirty, lethargic, and injured. Shockingly, we received no call about his deteriorating condition. This experience has taught me the importance of not leaving my pet with indifferent strangers. If you love your dog you'll find another place to bring them!!! Not the first time that during a boarding my dog got locked up and never even got water. She came home and couldn't get enough water!!! They lock her up and don't even let her out to play. You can do The same at home with a kennel!! I also made a full grooming appointment 3 weeks in advance because I was having medical procedures and told them that. Two days before I called to confirm that she would be groomed at an 11:00 appointment so she would be done when I was driven home(can't drive on anesthesia). I got there at 1:30 and found they did nothing but lock her in the cage. They said they moved her grooming to 4:30(on their own and knowing I was having a medical procedure and couldn't drive)!!!! I had reached out multiple times via email and contact via the website. Each time I got a response, answers seemed to vary which is confusing. I received a call a few days before as a reminder AND to say they had all the paperwork they needed. I was confused and slightly concerned when I received another call the following day stating I needed to call because they were missing information such as DOB and breed. When I called, they said no, we have that but we do need your address, and we have no she is not neutered (which was incorrect). Against my better judgement we still dropped our dog off that Saturday. Check in was kind of a mess. About 5 owners and dogs were inside so it was VERY loud. It seemed as if only 1 of 3 employees at the counter were checking dogs in. We picked up around 3, everything seemed fine but at 5:15 we went to feed our dog and noticed they never returned her slow-feeder bowl to her backpack. We called to follow up but they were closed so I left a message. The following day, no one returned my call so I called again. They stated it's usually because they wash them after so it was probably drying (which is fine). They found the bowl so my husband went to pick it up. It was definitely not cleaned, but at least we got our bowl back! We will not be using this location again though! Did our dog seem to enjoy it, yes, but the miscommunication was too great. read more

My dogs LOVE this place! We love how excited they are when coming in for the day or an extended weekend! We never worry about them at this location. We literally walk in and they yelp to go to the back- they know it's their happy place with other dogs! Honestly the progress reports are my favorite part when leaving them to know that they're doing well and having fun! I always enjoy the photos we get of them! I've included some photos of them enjoying themselves! I appreciate companies like this where I don't worry about them if I have to go out of town and can't take them. This was our second time using Pet Paradise to board our hound mixes, Bart and Benton. They are very energetic dogs and Bart can be a bit apprehensive around other dogs. This is the only place I will use in the NewTampa/Wesley Chapel area if we need dog boarding. It is very clean, and the staff treats the dogs like they are their own. We had them in one of the executive suite which allows for indoor and outdoor access, a 24 hr video feed, an email from the staff providing and detailed update of everything that's happening (food, play, if the dogs went into the pool- yes, they have a pool!) and enough space for the two dogs to be comfortable. The only thing negative about this place is the cost...but that is all relative because you get what you pay for....which is piece of mind that your fur baby is safe and being taken care of. I recommend this place to anyone who needs dog boarding... knowing your pet is safe and sound. read more

This place is great. I think they take really good care of your dog. It's nice to have somewhere you feel comfortable leaving your furry loved ones when you need to. They have some indoor outdoor "units" for the dogs which is cool bc our dog is usually pretty private about going potty and I would imagine she would prefer to paw outside and sleep inside. They do playtime I think 4x a day minimum, separated per size of dog. They have a shaded area with some obstacles for them to jump on and also a pool! You can pay extra for daily individualized reports and photos mailed to you and also extra play time etc. I think they will give your dog medicine if they need for a fee too. They even have house supplied food if you forget yours at home. Lady loves Pet Paradise and so do we! read more

Horrible customer service! They canceled our grooming appointment after 2 weeks of being scheduled with no warning, no call, no rescheduled date, nothing. I then called because I got the notification and the receptionist said the groomer was overbooked and canceled the one who made their appointment last. So I said ok, but they made no attempt to make it better, just canceled, no phone call to reschedule, nothing. If a groomer treats customers like that, I wouldn't want them around my pets. :) read more

I am usually not one to put in reviews. But tried them out for doggy day camp and for $38 a day they provided very little play time for my puppy. Most day camps a puppy will come home exhausted. I kept looking at the camera's to see if she was outside throughout the day. Seen on camera once for only 30 minutes. If you are looking into this place, watch camera's and you will see that the same doggies are barely outside. Then when I went to pick my puppy up noticed for an additional $10 they give additional play time. If you just want a place you can place your dog for the day it is great but if you want your dog to socialize and enjoy this is not the place in my opinion. read more

We decided to stop in and check them out and we were so glad we did. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by the friendly staff and overwhelmed by the actual facility. The staff walked us around and showed us the entire facility and thoroughly explained the policies and practices in regards to the daycare and boarding programs. The suites are nice and spacious with more than enough room for your pooch or feline child. One of the best parts of the facility is the lobby and when you walk in you will understand.. it has a huge widow which lets you see into the main play areas and dog shaped pool. After completing the usual paperwork and checking our pets shot records we opted to stay and see the staff complete our pups temperament test which allowed him to stay for daycare. We are so happy there is another great place in the WC area to take our pet to have a great day of play!!! read more

Unfortunately I will be leaving Pet Paradise of Wesley Chapel. 07/12/2021 Two weeks ago I requested M-F reservations for my two dogs through the end of August. A desk clerk let me know I was good to go but something was lost in communication between the managers and the most important contact--the customer :) 07/27/2021 !!! I was not informed to make doggy day care reservations on my own and showed up with no space available for my pups. I was informed by the day manager that it was my fault I did not create the reservations on my phone... I suggest the Wesley Chapel location reevaluates their training to communicate their needs and requests to customers. No one was on the same page. This is a great franchise that has so much potential but not if it is not run by the right leaders. read more

This was our first experience boarding our woof, and he had a great time. You can really tell they love what they do there and the animals are very happy. The lobby is clean and the service is prompt and professional. For a small fee, your pup can have ice cream and you can have pictures and updates emailed to you, which we thought was so cute! I only gave 4 stars instead of 5, because he came home not feeling so well. We would still board him here because we would like to try it again and see since it was his first time being around other dogs. My puppy absolutely loves this place! His first visit was more of a "get to know you" day, which is great because I am glad they do that to ALL dogs. They gave me a little summary of his day, which was so sweet as well. Since our first day, he has been to day camp 2x. Both times the staff were super friendly and listened to all my questions/concerns. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they weren't giving tours due to COVID but they are allowing them now so I will be going tomorrow! The main reason why I put Milo in day camp was to help tire him out so that I could relax, a bit, when we got home as he is still a puppy. This has worked, but I think that because he hasn't been neutered yet and is 6 months old and he can't play with friends now he didn't get as tired the last time. Which was kind of disappointing because if females are fixed then I don't see why not.... Anyway, the reason why I give this 4 and not 5 stars is because I wish they had more cameras. On their website they allow you to see some of the play cameras so you can see your pup. However, they only show a big dog play area and I honestly haven't seen dogs on any of the cameras. After recently moving to Wesley Chapel from out of state, I wanted to find a place to take my sweet boy to for some doggie daycare & get out some of his never-ending energy. We tried another place in the area before here for boarding & they basically complained that he was "too chatty" & acted annoyed by him, which turned me off. After trying out Pet Paradise I will never go anywhere else! When I drop him off, the employees always excitedly greet him by name and tell me how much they love him before they take him back, tail wagging & chatting away. You can tell everyone there really pays attention to all of the animals & cares about them, which means a lot as an owner. The facility is beautiful, with indoor/outdoor air conditioned suites for the dogs while being boarded. They also have a large pool for them to swim/wade around in on hot days as well as webcams so you can watch them play the day away. They do charge a little more than some other places but in my experience it's worth every penny! read more

My pup Max had a blast here. I watched him on the camera feeds off and on all day. He came home and is in a great mood. Not over tired or stressed out at all. They said we could not hold them or go in by them. They were rude and mean to us. I asked the manager please we had not been able to hold them for weeks. She said no!! My Cats all three of them. Were boarded for several weeks until we closed on our Home. They made over $2000 from us but would not let me go near my Cats. They never called to tell me they ran out of food either. Had to head out of town for a while, dropped off my grey-hound mix Reyna for about 2 weeks and she had a blast. She got a chance to make some friends, they have a pool for them to swim in, and even have remote viewing available if you want to check in. Great service, much better price as compared to some other boarding areas I've used in the past, and a well cleaned and kept facility to boot.
