My female Boxer has been joining Canine Excellence at least two days a week for the last couple of years. In addition she has stayed with Aly when we are out of town. I am so comfortable when I know "my girl" is with Aly. She is very well cared for and safe. I have been saying for quite a while that I think Aly really is THE "dog whisperer!" We are so fortunate to have found her!

I could not be happier with the quality of service that Aly and her team provide. My dog Rylee was a bit shy and Aly and her pack have brought her out of that shyness and she now she loves to be right up there with all her friends. In fact when I say to her "you wanna see Aly and your friends?" She gets SO excited and runs back and forth to the door. The price is amazing, especially for pick up and drop off. I was paying the same having to drive her back and forth to a unsafe and unsanitary daycare. Rylee's wiped out when she gets dropped off and so well behaved. A tired dog is a happy dog with a happy owner. Thank you Aly! I'm glad we found you!

Where to begin, words can not describe how HAPPY we are with Aly at Canine Excellence. My husband and I had been contemplating switching our dog walker for a while & couldn't decide. Jessica whom we followed as a dog walker was working AMAZING with Tyson, our 2 year old Rottweiler. Jessica put in her 2 weeks with the prior dog walker & I wanted to know where she was going. She provided me with Canine Excellence, her dream job! I let my husband know & that night he put in an application with Aly's company after looking into her website. We met with Aly that same weekend to have Tyson evaluated to see how he would incorporate with the pack & it was love at first site with Aly. Her belief on how a dog should be cared for is very similar to ours. You can tell that it's not JUST a job for Aly, she is PASSIONATE about what she does for all the dogs she cares for. That was something we were looking for in a dog walker because we love and care so much for our furry child. Aly truly is someone we can trust hands down with Tyson & know he will be treated well and disciplined when needed. We have worked hard and continue to work hard in making our Rottie the best he can be due to the bad rep they get. & with that comes finding the perfect dog walker to continue all the hard work we've put in. Tyson is not just another dog in her pack, he is a family member to her. She treats all of the dogs as if they were hers and it's hard to find that now a days. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANINE EXCELLENCE!!! If you're looking for a dog walker that truly cares about your furry pup, Aly and her team are it! Canine Excellence deserves thousands of reviews and all the STARS possible because her work speaks in volumes!! If this review does not convince you enough, please check her out on Instagram @canine_excellence to see how much fun your dog would be having :)

Jessica is the best pup whisperer there ever was. We will miss her so much because we had to move. Mojo and Tica love you Jess!

After leaving the dog there for almost a full day we returned to pick her up. Turns out she only received 2.5 hours of training, and the rest of the day was kenneled. She came out to us pulling even worse than before, and was obviously stressed. We were told she was difficult and needed more work as they handed her over to us with a pinch collar. We were told the pinch collar was necessary as it is the only thing she respected/responded to. I am of the opinion that the flashy ads and smiling faces on the website are just marketing ploys to get you in. Our trainer, at least knew very little about dog behavior and resorted to treat based behavior modification. It works as long as you have treats, past that the dog figures it out. No treat, no obediance. It was over a hundred dollars poorly spent. In contrast we just hired a one-on-one trainer for $100 per session who utilizes and understands dog behavior and body language. After only one visit we could see the difference. She went from a dog who was constantly on alert to one who was relaxed and obedient, looking at us for recognition with no treats involved. After only two sessions she will wait for her dinner or food on the floor till we tell her it's OK to eat, is better on leash, ignores distractions like other dogs, squirrels and cats. He also told us the pinch collar was unnecessary, which it was. Suffice to say, there was a remarkable difference in outcome between Dairy Dell and our current trainer. Our dog is now relaxed and calm, doesn't pull on the leash or steal food from the counters. Dairy Dell may work for some dogs, but it didn't work for mine.

The course definitely lives up to its title. Our rambunctious Doberman is now listening and behaving so much better, it's really like night and day. Camilla has a way of simplifying dog training in a way that is so attainable and effective. We are so grateful for Dairy Dell and can't wait to come back in the future!

She was also lacking social skills like knocking me over at a doorway or jumping up on everyone. Our little girl spent 7 days boarding with Fit n furry for training. The fabulous trainer Marie Haven did a great job. On the last day we went for a human training class. We were taught human skills to continue her training. Marie worked wonders. My dog is in check with my cats, off the furniture, she waits at doorways and leaves things when told. I am much happier at home and I believe my dog is too. Marie is very patient, supportive, knowledgeable and kind. She is the perfect trainer.

This is a great example of an organization where one hand doesn't talk to the other. The level of…read morenon communication is pretty astounding. I called Fit N Furry to talk to them about boarding my cats. I received a text message back from Bailey and we had a text conversation, and got a tour set up. On the day of the tour, I called the center just to confirm and they had no idea what I was talking about. I was told there was no one there that would be able to give me a tour. The person on the tour scheduled me for a tour weeks away. I texted the original number back and asked what had happened. I actually asked them if they were human, because I'd had experiences before of AIs just not forwarding information to a human. But I was assured, via text, that I was speaking to a human and that they were sorry and their manager would reach out shortly. (To this day no one has reached out.) Weeks went by and I went in for my rescheduled tour. I walk in and they had no record of a tour but they would be happy to show me around. Just fill out this form. I filled out the form. The person at the desk looks at my form and goes "oh, your cats are too old to board here." Excuse me? After all this, my cats are ineligible anyway? At this point I had spent 3 hours in the car and who knows how long on the phone and text with them, getting at this sorted out. If this is the level of organization that is visible from the outside, I shudder to think what the behind-the-scenes organization looks like.

Within just a few training sessions, we saw HUGE progress - walks became thoroughly enjoyable and our dog quickly learned what was acceptable behavior at home and with our kids. Within just a month or so, we went from depending on a harness for neighborhood walks to going off leash at the dog park with good recall. I really can't stress how amazing our results have been. Additionally, Courtney's customer service has been great. She cheerfully answers all my nervous dog-mom questions by text or email and offers to follow up by phone or in person as needed. She includes our kids in the sessions and is super patient with our crazy schedule/life. I'm so thankful to her for giving us a clear plan and path to follow. Mostly importantly, our sweet pup gets to thoroughly enjoy post-shelter life!!! THANK YOU COURTNEY!!!

I called to check on her and they said she has a LITTLE bit of separation anxiety but that was it they didn't go into a lot of detail. And then when we picked her up, this is how we picked up our dog. Her nose is cut up and it looks like she has a gash on her nose. We obviously got upset with the staff that was there because they didn't call us prior to us picking her up to inform us that our dog was injured. And then the first thing they said to us was that she ran into the door on the run that was line number two. , when we called bullshit, they then said well yeah she might've rubbed her nose a little bit on the kennel . A little???? When I finally got to talk to James the owner, he had no empathy for what happened to her face while I trusted them to take care of her. He proceeded to tell me that he doesn't think my dog is a good fit for the kennel like no shit James you will never take care of my dog. I would not trust this place to take care of a dog. I'm not someone that makes reviews because I don't even like yelp but i'm trying to help someone else so that they don't have to go through this traumatizing experience of picking up their loved one and having them be injured and then having the staff blame you and your dog for the dog being injured.
