Rachel was the trainer and am happy to say that after 5-6 sessions, the dog is really well behaved , does not leash pull or run off near the cars or squirrels. Rachel showed us some good command techniques and we were able to effectively use them on the dog- she starts the training indoors and gradually goes outdoors. Even behaviorally Rachel showed us techniques on how to calm him down and make him listen to commands when he is over agitated. Also Rachel is a very good planner who explains everything before hand and plans the sessions much in advance. Overall i am a satisfied customer with a well behaved dog.

There were plenty of red flags from the start but I had seen lots of good reviews online and ignored them - which was a mistake. I made several phone calls and emails to inquire about setting up a time for my dog to do the board and train. I finally got in touch with Alex (who I believe is the owner or manager), who set me up with a trainer and said the trainer would be in touch to provide and address and confirm a time. The trainer never reached out or replied to any of my emails during the month in between when we were introduced and when my dog was supposed to go to his trining. After several attempts to contact both the trainer and Alex, Alex got back to me and said that my initial trainer was unable to help but that she would train my dog herself. I dropped Lucky off with her and received several great videos and updates throughout his time. It appeared he was making great progress. I will say, Alex's communication was relatively poor throughout. It consistently took her over a day or two to get back to me - and as dog owners we know that updates are important when dogs are away from home. I got my dog back and it seemed almost all of his training went out the window within a day or two of his returning. I followed all of Alex's instructions and he was perhaps more stubborn than he ever was before. I contacted Alex and mentioned I was going to be near her for a weekend, and she offered to take him for another 3 days and train him. The training comes with a guarantee so the additional training was included. When I got my dog back the second time, she not only forgot his personalized LL Bean dog collar, but the TRAINING COLLAR as well. I have attempted to contact her 4 or 5 times but she has literally never gotten back to me. So now it is impossible to keep up with the trainings provided by this company as I literally do not have the e-collar to do it! I am so disappointed in this. I essentially flushed thousands of dollars down the toilet. I would have given 1 star but Alex was nice and treated my dog well. I am sure Alex is great with dogs and a good trainer, but this is terrible business. I wish I could get my money back or have taken him elsewhere. Do NOT recommend.

Stacey's training worked fine in that case but I decided to try something new. She responded unprofessionally. Here service is expensive but enticing because she offers to train the dog with no work on your part. The second time, we adopted a puppy. After a week he started biting. Stacey assured us that she could help. So we kept the dog for a year, spending thousands of dollars with Stacey. Then our dog walker refused to walk our dog anymore because he was too dangerous which means we, a family with two young children definitely should not keep him. Stacey responded very badly. She was defensive and tried to get us to pay her more money to retrain the dog and was really rude about it. I regret using her. Without her bad advice the dog would have been sent back within a week saving all parties (especially the dog) a bad experience. I highly recommend you stay away.

I have only had one evaluation so far so I'll be back for a follow-up…read more I have a rescued pit-mix who has some issues so I called WWW for an evaluation, thinking I'd take her to the Growl Class, a special class for naughty dogs. Stacy and an assistant met with me and my dog Cola for 90 minutes, watching her with other dogs and asking very detailed questions. I was impressed with her methodical attention to detail and seemingly no-bullsh*t manner. She asked me what my goals were and told me what Cola and I would need to do to reach those goals. She said Cola could probably do a regular obedience class even though she has some leash aggression, which was good to hear. But Stacy assured me she was being honest and not just telling me what I wanted to hear. On the downside, she doesn't come to Brooklyn so it's kind of a treck but we loved the 2 plus hour walk home over the bridge! Also it's QUITE pricey for an evaluation but so far I think it's worth it.

Consequently, it was very important to find a good trainer and a good daycare program. Our dog needs a gentle touch, as he is already fearful. Cassidy was able to size up our dog very quickly and was able to help us help our dog to become less fearful of new situations. Her daycare was also a good place for our dog. Cassidy and her dog handlers quickly learned which dogs would make good buddies for our dog and helped Grover gain his confidence when meeting the other dogs. He loves daycare so much that when I am about a block away he tries to pull me to daycare. When walking him you have to be really careful not to let anyone kick or step on him, as such an action could be fatal. I witnessed Courtney walking my dog once when I was on the way home from work, and not only was she careful to avoid pedestrians, but when a stranger tried to pet my dog without asking I saw Courtney step in and tell the man he couldn't pet him (as I'd asked her to do). That was just further proof of how she really listens to your dog needs and acts accordingly. She also walks my boyfriend's dog and manages to walk them both together: my 4lb and his 65lb dog- a feat that is still difficult for me at times, and I live with them!
