On the second level, you'll find a gorgeous dining room that seat sup to 20 people with contemporary furnishings- hardwood floors, floral arrangements, a hydraulic roof that raises, views of the mountains, and they even managed to fit a four person booth! The attention to detail is remarkable. They had me hooked when I saw they have prosecco on tap. Folks can choose from a grab and go menu, at the ordering window or they can enjoy a full service meal upstairs in the dining room. On our visit it was pouring rain, so the patio seating wasn't available while we were there for lunch. The lunch menu is a fixed menu that comes with your choice of a main course, side, and a small dessert for $30, $35 if you order a beer or glass of prosecco. The menu is small but it packs a punch. Our group of four basically ordered almost all the items on the menu and of course I got a taste of it all. I ordered the soup to start. It was carrot that day and it was delicious, but it could have been served warmer. For the main, I ordered the PD3 Bahn Mi-which is pork done three ways- it was layers of bacon, pate and mortadella. The ingredients were super fresh and the bread was delicious. Other orders at our table were the Burrata, Grilled Cheese and the Tuna Poke, so like I said, we ordered every entree on the menu. Our favorites were the Burrata and the Tuna Poke, but each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The sweet of the day was a cookie, but they had sold out so we got to enjoy cupcakes that they had baked for a catering order. This spot really elevates the culinary scene in Canmore. I hadn't been back in almost five years and seeing this addition to the local business community is really awesome. I highly recommend PD3.
