Cannabis Nation was incredible on a product level and a community level. Variety: flower power on point, many options ranging from sativa, indica, hybrid, and cbd as well as price options reasonable for Seaside. Many concentrates and edibles and paraphernalia . They even had thc drinks from tea to champagne! which I really want to try next time. Service: approachable and knowledgeable bud tenders. Community: A community outreach program interwoven which was by far my favorite aspect! There was a place to donate items. Not weed related, more like snacks, masks, first aid, awesome t shirts! And local information. Way cool, way fun. Welcome to donate or take. I'm thinking I will donate some tea next visit. I don't really smoke at all anymore because I don't like how it makes me feel so I don't keep up on the new and up coming pot stuff like I once did as a teenager so I asked a few basic questions and the bud tender was too cool to educate me and treated my questions like I was a idiot. I work in a industry where I deal with a lot of beginners and basic questions. I've never try to make anyones feel like their questions are invalid. With marijuana becoming way more mainstream you think they would be stoked to educate people as I was told "I wish people would educate themselves before coming in.". Isn't that part of your job? DO NOT ORDER FROM CANABIS NATION ON LEAFLY. They WILL NOT HONOR THE PRICE. They charge a HUGE sales tax. My order was $81.50 on Leafly and Canabis Nation was going to charge me over $95.00. I laughed and walked out. There is an ongoing FTC investigation into this. Oregon DOES NOT have a sales tax, therefore they are making up numbers to add to your bill. read more

Something is definitely not right in that shop. I came in today as I've heard amazing things about this shop from an ex coworker only to be disappointed and confused. I came in and was standing in front of their boards for a good ten minutes since there was about three customers in front of me. I kept looking at one strain over and over again because I have bad anxiety and like to know exactly what I'm talking about. They had a 40$ 3.5 that sounded like it would be great for sleep. I looked at that board for ten minutes and when I got to the front I was told my total was 48$. I looked back at the board twice to make sure it said 40 and it did. I normally wouldn't say anything but my sister works as a bud tender and the only other time I've been taxed on weed was when that coworker charged more and told me it was tax, I brought it up and the next day the girl was fired for stealing. I asked why it was 8$ more and the girl told me because of tax. I stayed in the parking lot for a while because it didn't sit right with me at all. I tried calling but the phones don't work so I ended up going back inside, I searched every sign and there is none stating tax is not included, so I just politely asked why if it's taxed are there no signs stating you don't include tax and explained that the only other time this happened it was because the employee was stealing. She immediately told me she was going to get her manager and spent a good three minutes on her computer, I assumed she was just finishing something before she told me she messaged the manager on the computer. This does not sit right with me, it's a really small store she could have walked fifteen feet and gotten her manager. But I waited for almost ten more minutes before another lady came out and asked if I was waiting to be checked out, and the original girl quickly said I was waiting to speak to her. She asked for what and she just nodded towards me, I explained the situation and as the lady turns back to the board it she read it as 48 for that strain only. When I looked at the board it was in fact changed, I know what I saw but I'm not good at confrontation so I blamed it on my eyes. Even though I was staring at it for almost 10 minutes before because I don't have a lot of money to spend and it seemed like a great deal. Every other strain was the same price except the two indica strains I debated between I ordering. I stood in that line for ten minutes rehearsing what I wanted and staring at the price, after she told me the price I double checked the board and even pointed over at the "40" on the board and was told the extra money was tax that's not included in the price. When I asked why there wasn't a sign I was told it was a new tax. I'm not upset about paying 48 because if that was the price advertised I would have still payed and tipped like I did, but I was told two completely different things and I'm still left confused and feeling robbed. If it was 48 dollars and I misread it I could have just been told "oh no I'm sorry this is 48 not 40" instead of telling me it's tax and making me look and feel like a fool. First and last time in that store. read more

While visiting Seaside we realized we needed to grab another cartridge for our vape pen so we headed over to Cannabis Nation. We got there 15 minutes before they closed but a few people got there at the same time so we didn't feel too bad about being straggling customers. The guy at the counter was welcoming and joked around with us before we headed into the main dispensary. We knew what we needed so it didn't take us long to get in and out but I really liked the small but well organized layout. They had different flowers that you could inspect under a magnifying glass and they seemed to have most of the products you would find at a larger dispensary. The prices were on point too.
