If approved your certificate is immediately emailed to you. You can shop in any Virginia dispensary where you will find an array of products to address your medical needs. I went into my local medical cannabis dispensary and was given a postcard with a scan link to the telehealth visit process. It was super easy to navigate the website. I filled out a couple of forms and I even got to pick which healthcare provider I wanted to see. I chose Nasim, the PA, and she was fabulous. She was very professional and easy to talk with. She asked me a few medical questions and afterward stated that I was eligible to receive my certificate. I was happy to hear that news! For my chronic pain issues and other medical issues that I have, I had been looking for alternative pain management instead of the typical NSAIDs or stronger medicines that generally have side effects that I was not too keen on experiencing. I have never tried Marijuana in any form, and I am excited to see how Medicinal Cannabis can work for me. SUPER EASY & QUICK! Fill out a form, upload your DL, schedule an appointment, log on at your appointment time and the practitioner comes on, asks you a couple questions and wah-lah! Certificate instantly emailed to you! I didn't have to upload any medical records, either. Some people don't have regular physicians they go to, so that was nice. The form you fill out is pretty extensive and thorough, but not super long. Just give them your medical history and chief complaints for why you are applying for medical marijuana, and that's it. Oh, and other places I tried to make an appointment with, the earliest they had was a week away! These guys had an appointment the next morning! (I filled out form in the late afternoon.)
