He did an adjustment, trigger point therapy, and we talked about some exercises I could do at home that would help. Within about a week and a few more adjustments, my pain was gone. I have been to a LOT of chiros through the years and several here in the area but these two raise the bar. They really listen, take their time with you, give you gentle adjustments (Claire does muscle release only, which never hurts, it's actually really cool), and don't give you the baloney you usually get where chiros usually try to make you come 3x a week or whatever. I got lots of info about supplements which have greatly helped my arthritis, and Will caught my B-6 absorption deficiency: so now I take a supplement and have color in my cheeks again! Who knew? Mark Herro, LicAc is an excellent acupuncturist, with a creative mind, extensive training, and a warm and genuine interest in working with you to address your issues. Again, I have had lots of acupuncture over the years, but he is in a class by himself. A pleasure to work with. It is hard to get an appt with Will...you will wait for months. If you suspect any kind of allergy problems, make an appt now. It is worth the wait. He uses strength testing, not the scratches, to diagnose you, and can often painlessly "re-set" your system to alleviate if not remove the allergy (sounds nuts, I know, but now I am not allergic to my cats anymore!). She then kept seeing doctor Brazil during her pregnancy. Its been about 1 year since she has been there. Her hips were bothering her and she made an appointment about 2 weeks ahead. My wife's insurance has been the same provider the entire time, mind you. The busienss no longer accepts my wife's insurance provider. They did not inform my wife of this change, which they as a business decided to change. Then my wife goes in for the appointment and gets there 10 minutes early. She is waiting around for about 10 minutes and is shown to a room. Then waits abother 10 minutes. Then they come in and tell her they have to change which room she will be treated in. Ok. She switches the rooms and waits what seems to be another 10 minutes. So they had 30 minutes give or take of my wife waiting around and they did not tell her that her insurance would not be covering the visit. They gave her an exam and treated her. Then she goes to the counter to give them her insurance card and they say oh we no longer accept them it will be $80.00 cash or credit. This business had multiple opportunities to inform my wife that her visit would not be covered by her insurance prior to her being seen and failed to do so. So my wife tells me what happened and I am obviously upset as this is npt ethical business practice to treat someone and then tell them ha gotchya. Highly unethical way to run a busienss. So i call to complain. I talk personally that Doctor Brazil on the phone and i explain what happened. I am told well im sorry that happened. Ok sorries don't pay the bills. I said its a big pill to swallow when you don't ever pay anything for your visits and then are surprised at the end of one with an $80.00 bil. Dr. Brazil then stated they had to stop taking that insurance because they weren't paying their business enough money. I again said ok thats fone but you needed to tell my wife prior to treating her to which i was told i will have to talk to my staff and retrain them. That must have gotten missed at some point. I said okay. And no offer for a refund or a partial refund, instead i am told well our prices are actually much cheaper than other chiropractors in the area. I am so disappointed this is how you treat a long time customer. Needless to say we will be exploring other options. Just be aware they may treat you then surprise bill you.
