6500 miles into a 6800 mile trek, my battery failed and the bike had to be towed in after hours. When I arrived the next morning at store opening, they attended to my bike immediately. Service confirmed that the battery had failed and they replaced it and had me on my way in an hour. It would be good to have a secure area and especially a 'key drop'. Fortunately, the tow truck driver brought my key when the shop opened in the morning and my bike was fine. I did contemplate 4 stars instead of 5 for that reason. Take any of these reviews on here that are more than 10 years old, that was the old owners and most of those horror stories were likely true. The current owners are great and the sales team is awesome. Service department is also very good, but like most places anymore, somewhat under staffed, but they still manage to get you in and out within a reasonable amout of time. read more

Most of the staff was AWESOME! Brandon W. is way cool this is the person one should ask for when looking for a Harley very knowledgeable. He hooked me up with a nice-looking Heritage (I have one with a Hack on her had it for over 16yrs.) Although I was trying to stay on two (2) wheels, but to no avail, in early spring I found out I have some medical issues and had to revert back to three (3) wheels Cannonball HD was very understanding. So I started doing my homework and asked Brandon W. about the Freewheeler Trike I had seen. We both looked on his computer at the Freewheeler and I found one that I liked, we talked about it, and I asked him to order the one we were looking at. It took a couple of months or so to arrive, but when she came in it was the wrong one, no fault of Cannonball HD. Now I was stuck in a dilemma as I was staring at a 2023 R-G-3 (first year in production) probably one of the stock sexiest Harley's I have ever seen. So, I started my research looking at MSRP's not knowing that there was a Dealership Suggested Retail Price (DSRP), lack of communication (maybe on both parties.) There was a young lady named Sarah in sales at the time and she too was very kind and helpful. I finally ended up speaking with the GM Brandon C. who too was extremly nice. Brandon C. and I sat on more than one occasion, and he explained to me about DSRP that I had no idea was even in the equation, although after it was all said and done, I was over budget and bought her anyway (sexy scooter). We can't forget Chuck in the back service department great person to work with, nice guy too! The new service manager Jim is easy to work with as well. To sum it up Cannonball HD has come a long way in the last few years, again GM Brandon C. and I talked about how I felt he helped me understand a little more - all-in-all I would buy again from Cannonball HD again! read more

Took my 2019 ultra limited for oil change and10k service. Got it home by trailer and took it for a ride. Within 2 miles I had an engine light then on my way back home a red light for the coolant came on and the trunk was rattling really bad. The water pump wasn't plugged in so I plugged it in. I started it back up and the coolant light went off then I had to reset the engine light. The trunk had a bolt broke off inn 1 of the holes and the other 3 were loose. Big store not a big selection of tee shirts and a ton of "tents" I mean 3XL Bike prices were just about MRSP so I would buy if I lived here. Another thing I noticed was as I walked down the isle of bike the sales people we NOT up my back side. This dealer was very clean. But I think the prices on tee shirts were a little over priced but being the Harley guy I am I had to buy one because that is what I do when I am near a dealer in another part of the country. read more

WORST SERVICE OF ANY BUSINESS AROUND!!!!! Had my parts ordered through them on 4/22. Service was scheduled 5/11. Bike was dropped off 5/10 as they began work on 5/11. Was told it would be finished 5/11 since it was just forward controls. I call about 45 mins before closing time to see what's going on, they told me the wrong parts were either ordered or sent to them but they didn't realize it until my bike was disassembled. Was told they had the new parts on order and would get back with me to let me know about the parts but the system showed they had shipped but didn't display a shipping number. They were closed on 5/12. 5/13 I called to get an update, now the parts are on back order until at least 5/24 but it's not a solid date. They are asking around other dealers for the part. Still no for sure time frame on when the bike will be done or even when they will get some foward controls. Just hope I'm able to ride it this season at this rate. Update: I had to order the parts since it was going to take an additional 2 weeks for them to get the parts I was able to get in 2 days. dropped off all the parts to include the new foot pegs (since they hadn't ordered them yet because they didn't read the part description) on 5/23. I asked the person behind the desk if my bike will be finished by 5/24 since I've already waited 2 weeks and he told me he would call me on 5/24 with an update. so eventually I hope to receive my bike back and finished. At this rate I won't hold my breath since he probably won't take the hour today and finally get my bike finished and out of the way. Definitely find a better location to take my bike next time at this rate. Update Number 2: told that it's going to take an additional 4-5 days for them to finish my bike. keep in mind that the bike is still disassembled and just needs the new controls put on(they are already put together.) from everything I've read online this total job should take about 1.5-2 hrs for a normal non Harley-Davidson tech. so I assume it's got about 1 hr of time left. this has been a complete nightmare!!! worst service I've ever seen for any type of service. if you take your bike here expect these guys to keep your bike for over a month and that if they order the parts, they will order the wrong ones. Definitely wish I had gone to a different place for such an easy task. read more

We were nicely greeted by the gal working at the front desk/entry area. Everything from there was non customer friendly... No one offered assistance with bikes and girl working behind apparel counter appeared to be inconvenienced and unknowledgeable about product and how to serve a customer. We asked about a bag in the counter case and she said she had no idea what it was nor did she offer to look before just walking away like we weren't possible buying customers. Ordering parts is extremely painful. Speed is not a priority for this store. I have ordered from the Bloomington store, and Indy West, and had my part in less than a week. Last time I was there, I was shopping for a seat. I knew exactly which one I wanted, but the salesman started telling me about "some guy" in Brazil, IN that does custom seats. Guess the salesman didn't want commission for selling me a seat. read more

Worst Harley dealer I have been to!!! Looking for a non stock throttle cable and they couldn't get over the fact that it was not stock. I was willing to purchase any cable they had with 5 1/4 inch travel just to get me home and they told me that they could not help me. They wouldn't even look to see if they had one. Labor Day weekend, Harley 110th weekend and this dealer had no bathrooms. They were remodeling!! Poor planning!! The girl working the register did not even know they were completely gutted and directed us to them. After we told them there weren't any she went to the manager and then led us to a filthy restroom in back of service where it was obvious the floor had been consistently urinated on without a good cleaning and feces on the toilet seat!! Not a place for a woman. We immediately left. I will never stop there again. We had been excited to stop at the Harley dealers on our trip and this sucked the air out of that!! read more

If your looking for a H-D store by pass this one! They absolutely SUCK , the staff at this H-D store are rude and have no interest in providing any kind of customer service! I was in Terre Haute and my bike was making a strange sound, and being a few hours from home , I thought it would be wise to have them take a listen, you would have thought I asked them to kill somebody! RUDE RUDE RUDE! Not to mention the service tech lit his cigarette and smoked it while looking at my bike (REALLY!)Then after hearing my bike was fine, I thought I'd shop, the retail staff was just as rude as service! To bad to, because I found a killer pair of sun glasses I wanted to buy, but no fricking way would I give wabash one red damn penny! Mind you this wasn't my first or second or even third time in the H-D store, but it was my last! Save yourself some aggravation keep your kick stand up and cruise on by , drive a extra few hours and head over to Coziahrs in Decatur IL, now this H-D store is amazing from the second your greeted until you climb on your bike!
