Upon arrival I met with the owner Glenn and his wife Lori who were very professional and yet very compassionate. We went thru their pricing and all options we envisioned for our Mom's Celebration of Life service. Our Mother requested to be cremated so this was done. We were able to purchase 4 small memorial urns for each of us children and a main Urn for Mom's ashes. Our Father then passed away three months later on June 13th. Our Father was in the Navy for 20 years and wanted a full Military honors service. Glenn immediately contacted the Tomball and Conroe VFW and arranged a full 21-gun salute and flag folding ceremony. It was BREATH TAKING and exactly what our Father requested. He was also a Master Mason and we were able to also have a full Masonic ceremony. No pressure whatsoever on services or options which helped us tremendously to get thru the whole process. From writing the obituary to the providing the photos to the music and program. All sooo seamless which was incredibly helpful during our time of mourning. The main hall for the service was beautiful and had plenty of seating for our many friends and family who attended. Our parents were then laid to rest together in the Magnolia Memorial Cemetery there on the premises of Magnolia Funeral Home in a beautiful spot for Veterans. Glenn also assisted us in locating a company to help create a custom headstone for our parents. They also suggested a Pastor who led the service, Scott Zbylot, was FANTASTIC. He came out to my home, met with my brothers and I, asked us numerous questions which had us all laughing and crying. He did a fantastic job with the service. Our parents would of been proud of us. For the owner to question where I was or imply that I "should have found her sooner" is victim‑shaming and completely ignores the facts. I went to this facility years ago searching for my mother. I didn't find her because they placed her under a false name, not one from marriage. Their staff never verified next‑of‑kin, never requested documentation, and accepted a fraudulent authorization from someone with zero legal rights. Under Texas law, I am the only legal next of kin. Under Texas Penal Code, retaining property after being told it is stolen is unlawful. Accepting a falsified identity is forgery. Mishandling remains creates civil liability. No court order is required to return stolen property to its rightful owner. They keep referencing the "grief of a mother," yet completely ignore the grief of a daughter whose mother's ashes were stolen, mislabeled, and kept from her for 21 years. That grief is real, and their actions have only compounded it. This experience has been devastating, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. BEWARE OF THE ETHICS OF MAGNOLIA FUNNERAL HOME - I found out this week my mother's ashes were placed in Mausoleum without next of kin approval under a fictitious name. Notified Magnolia funeral home. REFUSED TO GIVE HER BACK WITHOUT A COURT ORDER AND PAYING. They did not verify the name. Just know if they have an issue with a loved one, they will not make it right without you spending thousands of dollars to take them to court. EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE DOCUMENTATION.

They don't try to fleece your grief, as many places do. They will work with your budget to provide the simplest or most elaborate service for your family. The funeral value was way less then we expected, yet the quality wasn't compromised.
