First timers here-- The pros: best meat we've had in a Mexican restaurant in a long time. Chicken, steak, al pastor, birria all . Chips and salsa were delicious- fresh on both counts. My kid who loves everything spicy loved the salsa bar. The cons: it's pricey for counter service. Take that and add that they wouldn't let us have cups for just water-- had to purchase a bottle of water or go with a soft drink-- made our family of 7's meal way too expensive to do this again. If you can't handle spicy, the guac and essentially every salsa on the bar is not for you. The chips were incredibly good, but we barely got enough for each of us to try the salsa. The proportion of chip to salsa was nowhere near accurate. It's a fun vibe, but we probably won't be back based on the cost alone. read more

Food is top tier! Coming from the west coast, this has to be the BEST mexican food in oklahoma hands down. The flavors and dishes were so authentic I was impressed! The service was amazing, every employee we came across were friendly and they had a smile on their face. It was my first time there so when I asked for recommendations they did not disappoint! My 4 rating is really because of the flavor of the food. For a new restaurant to the MWC area, not everything with service was consistent but the food was. I ordered at the counter. The individual helping me did not provide a Tinker employee discount but my friends received one from the other counter. When ordering my food, I said that I might be interested in an alcoholic beverage so I was given a different color number to identify that when I sat down. Or I assume it did? No one came by and asked. By the time I waited for my food, I lost interest. Plus, no one ever asked. Not even when my food was delivered. As far as food though, I had the lunch chicken enchiladas. The guy who took my order over the phone input it wrong, so i paid $13 for 4 tacos rather than 3 tacos with rice and beans. 1. $13 for 4 tacos ?? I'm talking tiny street tacos. 2. When i addressed the order mess up with the lady upfront she was not willing to help. The only response i received was "I'm not the one who took your order."
