I love this place! OK. I wouldn't marry it. But the food and the service is outstanding! Today it was Chile Verde for me and Enchiladas Suiza for my bride (plus medium frozen margaritas). Came right in and got seated right away. This place looks totally different. I like the dark interior and the chairs are very comfortable. Pretty good crowd were already seated. We got chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. When the waitress came and got our drink orders she asked us what size queso we wanted. Got the small which is really a large. Really enjoyed it! Forgot they didn't have a liquor license yet but may need to come back, they had some exciting drinks on ybe Ordered the double fajitas Texana. The portion was HUGE! Like enough for 4 people. The chicken and shrimp were good but could use a little more seasoning. The steak was tough but that happens sometimes. Overall it was a good meal and I had lots of leftovers. I got the Pork Verde and my husband got the Chicken Enchiladas with cheese sauce. The Pork Verde was a massive serving and tasted very good! The Chicken Enchiladas were good according to my husband. The tortillas chips served before our meal were disappointing, as was the very bland rice that accompanied our entrees. The salsa was pretty standard, but good. The refried beans were pretty much as expected. They were NOT runny. The service was excellent! We would go there again in a heartbeat, but skip the rice. They definitely need some work. The entry is crowded as the cashier is right there and not much room to move around. We were seated and menus provided(very large menu). Ordered our drinks and finally decided. My wife went on the lunch shrimp fajitas and I ordered the grande beef fajita burrito. Both came with rice and beans. There were plenty of shrimp but they just didn't have a lot of flavor. The burrito was good with fajita meat, onions and peppers and a large tortilla draped over it and tucked. It was not rolled. Tasted good, beef had good seasoning. Rice and beans seemed to be from a can as was the regular salsa. The habanero salsa had a nice bite but also looked like it came from a bottle. Ambiance is more sports bar with all the TVs turned to sports with some Mexican music playing in the background. Our server kept Checking on us which was good. Then came the bill. After paying I was looking it over and noticed an extra 6.99 added. So I asked our server and he did not know so he asked another server and she tried to tell me it was because we added shrimp to my wife plate. I asked for a menu which plainly showed the shrimp fajita stand alone. I asked for the manager. When she came over she realized he charged for a regular lunch fajita and added a side of shrimp which is not how it works. She said it would be easier to just give me the cash back but she was going to take it out of our servers pay even though she benefited from the over charge. It worked out to be about 4 dollars over but I wasn't going to take the young man's money, so he got a nice tip. They both apologized and she explained he was new but he was there last week when I tried. This is twice I've been there and I might try again but it will be somewhere down the road. They also don't do queso with the meal like most Mexican restaurants. I hope they make it as it's a good addition to the area but they need some work. read more

Usually I'm not a huge quesadilla fan but I LOVE theirs! I can't get enough. The guacamole is also the only guac I've ever liked in my life. The flavor is incredible. The queso is so good and creamy. I've tried a few things on the menu and everything I have tried has been great. Every time I've ate there the service has been great with the waiters. I will say the only downside is it's not very ADA friendly but I'm sure with just talking to the owner and explaining I'm sure they can rearrange to accommodate. For a brand new restaurant I'd say they're doing pretty great. Every time I've been there's been limited parking into the next lot. It's a fantastic location being in Nicoma Park. I'm excited to try new things here :) read more

I ordered online, using a site we'd successfully used the week before. I placed my order at 6pm and it said it would be ready by 6:30 with a confirmation code. When I got to the restaurant they showed no record of my order. I showed them my credit card app that clearly showed a payment to Las Praderas Mexican Bar & Grill. They called the manager, and collectively refused to make the order I had already paid for. Now I get to dispute it with the card company. The business is poorly run and we will not return. When I showed proof of payment to their restaurant name they should have honored the order for 2 dinners plus queso. I don't usually make a point of leaving negative online reviews but then again I don't usually have restaurants take my money without giving me food. read more

They first brought us someone else's food. And you get to eat salsa and chips with no saucer so dripped all over table. I ordered a chili reano breaded pepper and if was setting in 1/8 of grease in my plate I pushed on it with fork and oil just flowed out . I know it's fried in oil but do you have to dump grease from skillet into my plate? My wife had a taco salad and they never drained the lettuce so it was setting in water when brought. So bottom of taco bowl designated into mush. As for the owner he kept having to come out and correct all food brought to wrong tables. Portions are huge but if you can't eat the food what's the point. I don't see them in business long between huge portions and food that goes in trash. I paid my bill and even left tip but we will never go back. The owner is going to loose his arse with the employees he has on both ends of the kitchen. read more

I was already super excited to try a new Mexican restaurant hence that being my favorite food. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were fantastic. We also got double steak and chicken fajitas and queso. The queso was a little bit cold but no big deal the flavor of everything else made up for it. Our server was pretty new, but super sweet. Second time I have eaten here. Great food and service. I highly recommend this place. Best Mexican food in the OKC area. I ordered the Special Dinner. Talk about value. I got 2 platters of food. Chili relleno, burrito, Taco, tostada, and enchilada, beans and rice. Could not eat it all. Wife ordered chimichangas. Two of them and a salad, beans and rice. Go hungry! Great value, great food, Great Service. Carlos was our waiter and he along with everyone else made sure our drinks were filled and we got what we needed. One word. NASTY. Got sick afterwords. How can you mess up a burrito? What's up with the all black paint for decor?

It claims to be the best Mexican restaurant in North side of Oklahoma City, it is not. I usually say, if the salsa is not good most likely the food is not far from it. The salsa was horrible, tasted like they added ketchup to it was horrible, and my chicken chimichanga was just as bad, so was the rice. Horrible tasting. read more

Service was not good. Our server never once smiled or was friendly. 3 out of 4 orders were wrong. No liquor license yet and couldn't even have a cold beer with our food. The food was NOT good. No one at our table came close to finishing their meals and said NO THANK YOU to the offer of to-go cartons. Awful and would give zero stars if I could!
