There is hardly any interaction between the teachers and children other than reading to them occasionally. I have heard this complaint from several other parents in passing during drop offs and pick ups. Ultimately we decided to pull our child from the daycare after securing childcare at a much higher rated facility in the city. In my time at this location, Maggie had sent out several requests for 5 star reviews of this facility. I would recommend instead of soliciting 5 star reviews, you listen to some constructive criticism from the current reviews you have on this page. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Unprofessional Communication and Severe Lack of Accountability…read more I recently withdrew my son from this facility after only eight days due to persistent communication failures, unprofessional staff behavior, and a concerning lack of leadership from management. Our issues began with inconsistent and directly contradictory updates regarding my son's transition and naptime behavior--with one teacher stating he was adjusting well while another reported severe distress. To address this, we held a formal meeting with the director and his teacher. A clear plan was established for staff to send brief daily updates regarding naptime. However, over the following week, staff completely failed to follow through on these agreed-upon updates. When I followed up in person to ask about my son's day, one teacher remarked, "Oh geez, she found us." This level of blatant disrespect toward a paying parent seeking basic communication about their child's well-being is unacceptable. When I brought this unprofessional comment and the lack of communication to the director, I was promised a follow-up call on Monday. After waiting until 4:00 PM with no contact, I had to visit the facility in person, only to be told the director was too busy to reach out. More alarming was the response to my concerns: - The director stated she could not guarantee that staff would not treat my son differently following my complaint, nor could she guarantee that moving him to another classroom would help, as teachers may have already "talked amongst themselves." - While internal disciplinary actions were mentioned, no effective solutions or assurances were provided to ensure my son's safety, emotional care, or fair treatment while remaining in a classroom with the staff member who displayed open hostility toward us, as the director also expressed concerns over teachers treating a child differently if made upset. - No explanation was ever offered for why staff failed to follow the staff-approved communication plan or why unprofessional comments were made. As a parent, my priority is ensuring my child is in a safe, transparent, and respectful environment. If a facility cannot guarantee basic equal treatment for a student or maintain professional communication with parents, they should not be trusted with child care. We could no longer in good conscience keep our child enrolled here.TL;DR : Inconsistent/Conflicting Updates, No Guarantee of Fair Treatment from teachers to kids, No Reassurance or Actionable Solutions, and Zero Accountability.

So when we got here we were worried that it wouldn't be the same, but after taking their free preview class it was almost seamless. They offer plenty of classes with different age groups so your little one can make some friends...and you'll get to meet other moms too who are in a way "in the same boat" as you. It's really nice to get out of the house and be in a group setting sometimes when you are a stay-at-home mom. Our little ones need social interaction with other children their age, and this is the perfect place for that. This facility is super clean and very well maintained. The play room inside is padded everywhere and really safe so my son can roam around and discover. The Play & Learn classes are structured and have different learning themes every other week, and has plenty of singing and silliness, and of course BUBBLES. My younger son really enjoys it while my older son is now attending preschool. I would say his experience at a Gymboree really prepared him for the school setting (interaction with other kids, learning to share, group time, etc.) Also, this is a nice option as an air-conditioned indoor playground when the summers get hot and a nice haven to let energy out during the isolating winter months! As for the staff, the owner Nicole is super friendly and goes out of her way to make sure we are satisfied with the classes and everything.
