I asked John if he had worked on Suzuki engines and he said yes. When he completed a standard gear…read moreoil change he did not inspect the lower drain plug for a gasket and per the diagram I gave him did not use a washer which was provided. This caused the gear oil to leak over my driveway. According to the dealer this is a standard practice to always use washers on all plugs on the lower unit. When asked to come back and fix the job despite paying him an additional 100 dollars. He refused. I would not recommend this mechanic on an outboard.

They also have good access to parts and have done some specialized jobs for me like installing a fresh water flush system for the motor. For pricing they have been nice enough to give me email quotes on pricier work. M and L has really made my bay boating a pleasure. Even sent me a cell phone video of an outdrive lube job so I could do it myself if it goes wrong again.
