This review is for Penny Jeffrey…read more I found penny on accident from a home she had a listed and instantly decided to use her for all of my home buying needs. Penny worked with us in our 20 mind changes and always supported us in the process. She educated us on all different aspect of real estate and after the Search I was completely confident in what we were doing. Penny always was on time and made things happen fast for me which I am notorious for wanting. The bank got our money at 2 pm on a Friday and she had the loan closed and recorded by 5 pm so we could stick to our time line for our renovation. Penny is very honest and caring and one property she made sure to suggest what we could get for the same price in a safer neighborhood. Penny is now a dear friend and her assistant Brittany, I even had them at my wedding. Thank you penny from being a 10 star agent and I will always use you for anything we need. Ps penny is so great I decided to use her instead of the agents in my own family. Pss penny looks fabulous every day and will make you laugh till you cry! What a joy for someone to love live and be so passionate about their job ! She even gave us a house warming gift :)

Poor service, poor knowledge, poor treatment of families of color…read more My family had a deeply upsetting experience with Tanya Glasbrener at an open house. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with hostility and suspicion that other visitors were not subjected to. Tanya aggressively insisted that we sign in, even though other attendees who had not signed in were ignored. When we complied, she and her associate interrogated us about our real estate agent's name, phone number, and email -- information most people would not be expected to have memorized on the spot. Tanya's colleague even mocked us for not immediately recalling our agent's contact information, belittling our family in front of others. To justify this behavior, Tanya incorrectly claimed there was a new law requiring visitors to sign in. In reality, the August 17, 2024 change only requires real estate professionals to have a written agreement with buyers before showing homes as a client's agent -- it does not mandate open house visitors to sign in or give personal information. It was extremely concerning that Tanya, despite her clear "seniority," misunderstood or misrepresented this important industry change. It was clear from the moment we entered that we were treated differently based on how we looked and dressed. Our family left feeling humiliated, unwelcome, and racially profiled. I would strongly caution any buyers -- especially families of color -- against working with Tanya Glasbrener.

My family and I have just finished our business with PMG and I just needed to leave this review! If…read moreyou're looking for help understanding how to go about purchasing your new home, give Pacific Mortgage group a call. I mean literally just pick up your phone and call them- they WILL help you. I've been insanely stressed about the process of buying a new home in a completely different area of California- after doing some research in the evening, reading glowing reviews for this place I thought well I'll give them a shot. Now I see why those reviews were glowing!! First of all, they reached out to me pretty much instantly after I did the pre-qualification quiz. So I already could tell right off the bat that they were communicative, fast, and experienced. Second, a big shout out to Maram for being so quick, kind, knowledgable, and just all around wonderful for this entire process. I am SO grateful. Another shout out too to her assistant Vanessa who was also wonderful and so quick to help us with the interview. I don't even think I really specified the urgency of our home-buying situation to them, but, the process was still done WAY faster than we expected! Because my situation is a bit unique, Maram was fully transparent with us, and offered a few different routes to go about purchasing. I really do think she maximized our opportunity and negotiation regarding the purchase price of our new home, pulling as many numbers to maximize. She was on the phone with us while we figured all of these things out- we were definitely stressed but Maram was very quick to crunch numbers, and explain the results clearly to us. Like I said, we've been pretty stressed given the fast pace of our unique situation, but Maram was an absolute blessing to us. I felt compelled to leave this review because I truly am grateful for PMG's assistance in our situation... we've never been so excited to move! It felt like such a great weight was taken off our shoulders. So.... if you are insanely stressed about the home-buying process, if you have no idea where to begin or what to do, if you are considering avoiding the big banks and taking a different pre-qualification approach to buying a home, I literally cannot recommend PMG enough. Quick, kind, knowledgable, patient, and above all else, CARING. We are so grateful. THANK YOU!!!!

Terrible Experience with Redfin's Home Valuation…read more I am extremely disappointed with Redfin's home valuation. Redfin estimated my home in Corona approximately $300,000 lower than a very similar home right next door. The homes have comparable square footage, condition, and overall characteristics, so this enormous difference makes absolutely no sense to me. I tried multiple times to contact Redfin to ask how they came up with such an inaccurate valuation and why the pricing difference was so extreme, but I could not get a satisfactory response. In my experience, Redfin's estimates are not reliable or accurate, and I would strongly recommend that homeowners do their own research and compare multiple sources before trusting Redfin's valuation. I have found Zillow to be considerably more accurate and up to date in comparison. Based on my experience, I would not trust Redfin's estimate when making an important financial decision about your home.
