This review is for Penny Jeffrey. I found penny on accident from a home she had a listed and instantly decided to use her for all of my home buying needs. Penny worked with us in our 20 mind changes and always supported us in the process. She educated us on all different aspect of real estate and after the Search I was completely confident in what we were doing. Penny always was on time and made things happen fast for me which I am notorious for wanting. The bank got our money at 2 pm on a Friday and she had the loan closed and recorded by 5 pm so we could stick to our time line for our renovation. Penny is very honest and caring and one property she made sure to suggest what we could get for the same price in a safer neighborhood. Poor service, poor knowledge, poor treatment of families of color. My family had a deeply upsetting experience with Tanya Glasbrener at an open house. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with hostility and suspicion that other visitors were not subjected to. Tanya aggressively insisted that we sign in, even though other attendees who had not signed in were ignored. When we complied, she and her associate interrogated us about our real estate agent's name, phone number, and email -- information most people would not be expected to have memorized on the spot. Tanya's colleague even mocked us for not immediately recalling our agent's contact information, belittling our family in front of others. To justify this behavior, Tanya incorrectly claimed there was a new law requiring visitors to sign in. In reality, the August 17, 2024 change only requires real estate professionals to have a written agreement with buyers before showing homes as a client's agent -- it does not mandate open house visitors to sign in or give personal information. It was extremely concerning that Tanya, despite her clear "seniority," misunderstood or misrepresented this important industry change. It was clear from the moment we entered that we were treated differently based on how we looked and dressed. Our family left feeling humiliated, unwelcome, and racially profiled. I was hoping to not have to write a review, but Reality ONE's lack of responses, transparency, and customer service has driven me to give a poor review for the entire group. Things started out okay with our agent, Ernie Aragon, and we even put in a few offers with him. To be fair he walked up through the steps and we were in agreement with him. A few weeks went by and we just weren't finding the right place for us -nothing that was his fault. His only real deception (also partially my mistake) was having me sign what is called a BRE, or Buyer's Rep agreement. Mind you, I am a first time buyer so I thought this was the norm. This BRE basically locks us in with him for 6 months. Meaning if we were to buy a home in southern california during that 6 months with another realtor, he would be entitled to a 3% commission. So when we decided that we wanted to take a break from the housing search and then come back 3 months later, we could only buy with him... even if we were looking in an area that he is not as familiar with or for any other reason. I have since emailed him and his office manager to have the BRE revoked to no avail. I have also called his office manger and she has not returned my phone calls. Also, I have since come to find out that most agents do not even use this form because they trust that their client is not going to play games with them by shopping the same house with different agents. So basically, Don't sign a BRE with an agent. You don't have to. Just because it is a california form does not mean everyone uses it. Secondly, if you have difficulty with your reality ONE agent, good luck trying to get ahold of the office manager/broker. read more

This review is for Julie Lee; however, the Office Manager - Linda Rocha - didn't help much when she found out about the situation: I've purchased/sold 6 properties now, and this was by far the worst. Julie Lee, of Realty One Group - Corona office, was representing the buyers of my house, but she was terrible to communicate with and was not responsive at all. In addition, she violated many rules: 1) didn't notify us that the actual buyers changed from a young couple to the son and father, in effect, needing a change to the contract; 2) didn't notify us when the buyers changed lenders; 3) didn't provide all documents required after her clients signed disclosures. We found the first two out from Escrow when we were closing. As a result, we ended up closing 11 days late which incurred approximately $4,000-$5,000 extra for my wife and I, because we didn't know until the last minute that we weren't closing on time. If you want efficiency and honesty then do NOT choose Julie Lee of Realty One Group. read more

Even when the listing agent was being unresponsive to her numerous emails and inquiries, Julie kept fighting for us and trying to find ways to help us to close. Julie really put up with a lot throughout this process and helped us to find our first home. We really can't thank her enough. We definitely learned a lot through this process and would trust Julie again whenever the time comes for us to sell our home. I first met Luis almost 10 yrs ago when he sold my father in law his first home. He also sold a home to my father yrs later. All happy with his services. Leslie West helped us with a rental property. The property was poorly managed and communication was terrible. The property was not cleaned and items were broke and damaged. Needless to say, Leslie was very aggressive and wanted us to move in despite our request to fix issues. After two days of receiving the offer, she started calling and texting my wife and I demanding we make a decision. She was rude, nasty and argumentative which ultimately waived our decision to move forward with her being our point of contact throughout the lease. Questions about management of the property were lofty and non specific. Needless to say, I would never lease or buy working with this company. Leslie West helped my husband find a rental house. I was pregnant at the time and was not able to go with him to see the houses. Leslie was very unprofessional. She would inappropriately text my husband late at night as if to have small talk with him. We both did not think too much of it at the time. We had a horrible encounter with realty one group. We just purchased a home they were representing. This purchase was full of lies and deceit. The agent as told the seller they didn't have to move until their other escrow closes. These terms were not written in the contract. Needless to say, the are still in our house. Realty One Agent Jennifer Graham made our home buying experience an absolute disaster. Her sellers had already moved out of town and they put their trust in her to get all requested repairs done on the house. She failed to do so in a timely matter, resulting in her sellers having to give us a large credit last second. So last second in fact that it actually delayed processing of the paperwork resulting in us not being able to move in. She then lied through her teeth repeatedly refusing take any blame. My agent, Ruben Gabaldon also with Realty one was aloof, constantly tardy, and really made us feel that he wasn't on our side on anything. Demory Stodola claiming to be an agent listed a home on craigslist and after viewing the home I decided I wanted to rent it, she got all our information and then we didn't hear back from her. Every time I tried to contact her she gave me a random excuse. She wouldn't tell me who the property owner or manager was, she then start lying to me. A man who identified himself as her husband was hoping the fence in and out of the property claiming that the people were evicted and didn't leave a key. She has all of our personal information and luckily I was able to google her phone number and get all of hers. read more

Stay away from their agent name Danny Chen. The worst experience ever! He was very unprofessional and rude. Bad communication and poor language skill. I made an appointment with him to view a home, and we waited him over an hour at the lease home, he never show up. so I called him after 15 mins and he said he is trying to close a home deal, would be there shortly, after 45mins later, still no show and no call. More often than not I encounter Real Estate agents that only want me to tell there clients that the home they are looking at is perfect even if it isn't, just so they can make the sale and be done. Joanne Casillas is not one of those agents, she is professional and honest with her clients. She works with me to help the client understand the whole inspection she allows me to explain why my findings are the way they are, instead of fighting me every step of the way. Well I did not see any reviews for Diana R Nieves and I hoping for good reason. But let me tell you about my experience with her. First I have never met her or the escrow department that she works with. They were working with my broker. I purchased a home in Corona and my broker was working with her. First of all this home was on the market since March 2018 and price was dropped from $615,000 to $599,999 and then $575,999 when we purchased. My husband and I do not own a home so we had no contingency's to hold us back from a home purchase. Second we had a large payment down, over $100,000 and good credit. When we put offer on home, we were told there were other buyers that put offer also but they had to sell their home first. I could not quite understand that response as we did not own home to sell, we were ready to buy and move in. Then we were trying to get escrow to process as quickly as possible because their was cosmetic work to be done in the home, prior to moving in and Diana Nieves was told this. She was fully aware we did not have anything to hold or delay the escrow. The realtor and the escrow company were dragging their feet and made it very difficult with I would say when it finally came down to putting our deposit down on a Friday! of all days. We had asked our broker and he was trying very hard to get our keys to the home for that weekend and once again the escrow company dragged their feet and we did not get any keys due to their negligence and did not care, maybe because they have no commission, not sure. But my husband went early in the morning that Friday and wired over $100,000 so the bank back east would have it and we could get our keys. Our broker was calling the agent and the escrow company about receiving the money and everyone there apparently do not communicate because they could not find the money and this went on all day till end of day which again this was a Friday and when my broker called them for the last time again, they left for the day!, of course its Friday. So here me and my husband are, no keys to home at all. My broker asked Diane Nieves about keys and she said we could not due to funds did not reach???? What in the world is that kind of answer from a professional. She had control on this and should have pushed her staff not only for our interests but also for the interest of her clients as well. We were held back 2 days due to negligence on her part and they had our large deposit and we had no keys due to the agent and their escrow staff. Technically we were owners of this home that Friday but due to the people not caring and the negligence of the staff and their communication we could not get into home till the following week. When we moved in we had issues with electrical, plugs did not work, pool light does not work, attic fan does not work, refrigerator does not work and the sellers purchased a cheap home warranty does not cover any of these things. Only thing they did cover was putting Freon in the air conditioner. So the policy was a basic policy that did not cover anything. Currently we just changed our home insurance and found out about the major water damage in the home, 2 claims in 2017, 2018. One claim was $30,000!. WE WERE NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS AT ALL!. is this not disclosure? The only visible thing we saw was the gas line to the barbecue, it was deteriorated, so they replaced it. My overall experience was horrible! I cannot refer her to anyone. This costly transaction was handled poorly and it could have been smooth and fast as their were no setbacks at all to stop the closing and get our keys when we were entitled to that Friday, May 2018. read more

Read the other yelp reviews, but I caution anyone who thinks about working with this agency, especially Demory 'Dee' Stodola. I can only speak to my experience with her, but she was very unprofessional as I would get emails that read like a text with 'u' for you, etc... She never answered any of my questions, and when I would ask about scheduling a showing, I would get an answer back 'Do you like any of the houses.' One word, incompetent. After she sent over a list, she asked for personal information on the premise of qualifying me for rental and even committed to showing me the properties on the list, but I had to keep asking when we were scheduling to no avail. Then I received a message the morning we were supposedly set to meet, mind you she hadn't confirmed even after several emails on my part, that most of the properties were either unavailable or not ready to be shown. Interesting because I am now seeing some of those exact properties through another realtor. She is full of deception. Good luck. read more

This review is for Danny Chen BRE# 01906909 He was definitely not great at selling our home. He was unpleasant to talk to. He made comments that was not necessary time to time, gave us false information, lack of negotiation skills and never provided update on the status of my home. When he first met with us, he told us he has a lots of experience selling homes and had sold many homes in the pass. He made it sounded too good to be true. Later we found out that was a total lie. We had ours up for over a month and no offers, the next thing you know, he tells us the asking price is too high, neighborhood is a slow selling area etc. So we lowered the price to what he suggested, a month went by, still nothing. We tried to call him and never received any call back. Completely wasted our time and money. Made a report about him to Office Manager Linda Rocha and she didnt help much either. So we found another agent, and our home was sold in 3 weeks for the same higher asking price. If you are looking for an agent to sale or buy, make sure you check their back ground and reviews. read more
