Canyon Creek Preschool has been a godsend to our family. Moving from south Austin, we weren't totally familiar with the options up North. I feel so lucky to have found CCP through word of mouth, and both my son and daughter adore the staff, teachers, and friends there. Having previously never done any sort of child care program, I was super nervous when my daughter started at 15 months (former helicopter mama here). Their approach to education, support, and providing my little ones with a loving environment is what sets them apart from any other child care facility I've found. I can't say enough how much we love this school and so sad when our oldest will be going to kinder. The staff and teachers know everyone name, they care about all of the families. My kids LOVE their teachers and the staff so much they talk about them all the time like they are family (because they really are). They are retaining so much knowledge and making friends all while learning about our lord. I couldn't ask for more. I have 3 children who have attended Canyon Creek Preschool, and it has been the perfect program for us. They provide a great balance of learning and play, and the teachers are fantastic with very low attrition. We took a short break during the height of COVID, but when we returned I have found their protocols to be a good balance between prioritizing keeping the children and staff safe, without feeling overly restrictive. We love it here and will continue to attend until all my kiddos reach school age. read more

I can't recommend Canyon Creek Preschool enough! Last year my son went to the two-day three-year-old class and had an amazing experience. his teachers and all the school administration staff were amazing, and it's clear how much they all care about the kids. So many fun activities and themes throughout the year without a lot of extra work being put on the parents which I really appreciated. The weekly pictures the teachers took during the school day were the highlight for me and made it clear how much fun the kids were having. Great use of technology to communicate with parents and good safety protocols. We recently moved out of state and this school was one of the hardest things for us to leave behind. read more

I love love this preschool with my whole heart! We have been going here for the past 3 years. The entire staff is AMAZING. Every teacher is so loving and so nurturing. They are patient, kind and show so much love to these kids. It is such a nice feeling as a parent to know when my kids are not with me they are at the safest/loving place! They do a great job with play and learning! I'm always so impressed. The Administrative staff knows every kid by name. And will greet each one in the morning with a smile and a good bye at the end of the day! They are phenomenal. I can go on and on but you won't be disappointed with this preschool. read more

I can't recommend Canyon Creek Preschool enough! My daughter (now 5) started here when she was about 20 months old. We fell in love with the staff and teachers. COVID hit and that was hard for us all but we re-enrolled her and felt they were taking all the right precautions. My son now attends as well and we look forward to seeing him grow through the program! I have not met one teacher I didn't love at this school! read more

CCP is truly amazing! When I first brought my sweet 2 yr old 2 years ago I felt so comfortable leaving her there! The teachers and staff are so caring and take the time to get to know the children individually. I am forever grateful for the school especially during covid. Our daughter has attended Canyon Creek Preschool for 3 years and we LOVE it! She has grown so much in her learning, walk with Christ and her socialization. They have themes they use throughout the year and have fun activities to go along with them. We have been so pleased with all of her teachers and the staff at CCP. I have sent both my boys to Canyon Creek Preschool since they were 18 months old. It was important to this part-time working mama to find a preschool that started young but that also offered flexibility on number of days and schedule. I love working part-time, but my first and most important job is home with my boys, so 2-3 half days was plenty for me and Canyon Creek has a flexible variety of schedule options to choose from. The first time I visited almost 4 years ago, I immediately had that "warm fuzzy" feeling as I toured the classrooms. They were colorful and cheery; the children seemed happy and teachers engaged. I looked specifically for a preschool that did not have a lot of turnover, so I am happy to say that four years into our time at Canyon Creek, there are still familiar staff faces greeting us every school day morning. In fact, my oldest son can't walk in without giving his favorite teachers a big ole hug. They come home toting crafts, sand in their shoes, singing songs...what more can you ask for? I guess I will just have to have a third kid at some point so I my family's time at Canyon Creek Preschool never ends ;-) read more

My son began preschool here, mid way through the year. We weren't expecting him to start mid year, rather the next school year, but a spot opened up and we jumped on it. I am so thankful we did. This is a wonderful preschool with wonderful teachers. Our son loves all the activities and enjoys telling us all about it. The wonderful thing about this school is the constant communication with the teachers. They are open and are always updating us on events/activities. Our son has grown socially and academically and their curriculum is play-based which is why our son is enjoying it so much. read more

My daughter started here last month and loves it. She is very timid but she has definitely opened up in class which is a great sign! The teachers and staff are also very gentle and loving and have been what has allowed my daughter to smoothly transition into this school. My daughter is very cautious and can be timid. The teachers at Canyon Creek not only help her to feel comfortable in new settings, but they challenge her to overcome her fears. Our family has had both of our children at Canyon Creek (soon the 3rd will be!) for the past 5 years. My son and daughter both have thrived at Canyon creek in ways I could hardly put into words. They have been loved unconditionally and have grown in tremendous ways as preschoolers through the guidance, care, and direction of the teachers. My son has been through some challenges and they have loved him through that with such patience and grace. My kids absolutely love it here! The teachers are loving, supportive and are excellent at communicating with me. From what I can tell, most (if not all) of the teachers seem to have degrees in teaching and/or childhood development. My kids feel like they are playing, but each day they come home and tell me something new that they have learned. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. The building is newer and is always super clean and safe. We have gone here from 2012-2015. I love being able to leave my kids here and know that they are safe, loved and learning! read more

My daughter attended Canyon Creek Preschool during the 2016-17 academic year. She is the youngest of my five children, and I've had experience with a number of other preschools in other communities. I've also formerly worked as an educator. Canyon Creek is exceptional. The staff is professional and obviously well-trained in early childhood development. The curriculum and style of instruction are age-appropriate. The class sizes are ideal. The instructional materials are inviting and varied. The building atmosphere is warm and cheerful. Walking through the art-filled hallway to deliver my daughter to class was often a highlight of my day. The staff is friendly, and they are usually at the front door greeting the students and parents as they enter and leave each day. The religious instruction is Christian, but the school is welcoming to families from other religious and non-religious traditions. (Our family is agnostic.) My daughter felt loved at Canyon Creek, and she is now well-prepared to begin kindergarten. This school is built on a strong instructional foundation, and yet, despite its professionalism, it has a very warm, neighborly environment that is free from the commercialism of some other preschools. The price is very reasonable and well-worth the investment in your child. I'm grateful that I heard about this gem of a school through word-of-mouth because our experience has been entirely positive. My son is in his 2nd year at Canyon Creek Preschool. He really enjoys going to school each day. His teachers are wonderful, creative, encouraging and caring. Every week there is a new learning theme which is a lot of fun for the kids. I would definitely recommend CCP. read more
