Stopped in looking for the Chinese New Year lottery scratchers. Had tried several other places without success. Fortunately Canyon Liquor had a much better selection than the bigger more national convenience stores carry. Bought $20 worth of scratchers to give to my girlfriend to celebrate Chinese New Year. This place is a horrible dive. The wine bottles are covered in dust. I bought Chardonnay for a friend and was so embarrassed that is was vinegar. The have a nice variety of beer, craft soda, snacks, and gatorade / hydration drink. I'm unclear why the Pure Leaf I bought was $3 but I needed to take medicine and I had set my taste buds on peach. All in all it is what it is. Great location right off the freeway and across from Kaiser. $7 cone of Popcornoplis Takis caught my eye. Average price but I've never seen that flavor before. My favorite go to liquor store. It isn't the closest to my house but it's worth the extra 2 miles. It's a lovely family owned and operated business. They family is always welcoming and will chat with you. They are always stocked on my fav chips and scratchers. Just about anything you need they have. I will keep coming here as long as they stay open. And during the covid-19 pandemic they were the only place I could get toilet paper. Love this place. Love the owners!! Highly recommend read more

I recently moved to the area and first visited Canyon Liquor during our move. My crew was thirsty and this place was right next to my house. I always walk into a unfamiliar place or store a skeptic, but, I soon realized that this family owned store was unique. I live super close to this place now. They have a nice stock of cold wine and craft beers for last minute get occasions. I am not terribly picky about white wine for get togethers with friends, but my man is a beer snob and he has found some good craft beers here. All the people who work here are very nice and personable. If you're in a pinch, check it out! I know they have lots of other hard alcohol, but I don't know what the prices are like - craft beer and white wine are decently priced! read more

Molly Maids are needed here! When Mr. Handsome is smoking a huge prime rib for Christmas dinner and he is in need of a whiskey to make the process more smooth, I quickly offered to run out and alleviate that need. Canyon Liquor was close by and open. Bingo. Canyon Liquor is probably a great spot to stop by for a standard brand of beer, soda, or snack. However, their actual liquor selection is both sparse and dusty. Not to be deterred, I chose an appropriate whiskey and went to pay. As the cashier rang it up, he pulled out a cloth and dusted the box off. I did appreciate that extra touch. This place isn't BevMo. It's a small Mom 'n Pop operation that likely fills a niche perfectly. The whiskey niche just isn't their forte. Apparently neither is dusting. read more

Where do I begin...well my disabled wife and I were shopping for a bottle of wine and a pack of ecigs (which were out of stock) we complemented the shop keeper for having a nice well kept store and he was soooo rude, asking her "What's good about it" in a really rude tone of voice..now my wife and I just went on because of course we assumed he was maybe having a bad day....well we got the wine, waited patiently in line and this disgusting slob of a customer comes in..gets 2 mountain dews, slams them on the counter...cuts right in front of us... did the shop keeper acknowledge us??? I am a regular at Canyon Liquor and a local since I live close by. I have been coming here for over 20 years and it's a great place to get beer, wine, liquor, and also groceries. They stock dairy products too. This is a family owned business and when I go in they call me by my name. They are always friendly and personable. The place is like a small general store that you can get the things you might have forgot to get at the supermarket, or just go there if you just need to get a few things. This is my favorite convenient store in Anaheim Hills! The inside of the store has a very homey feeling. It is family owned and operated by the nicest most helpful people! They don't just have a great variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, they also sell paper towels and other bath and toiletry essentials, which is convenient if you do not want to wait in line at Wal-Mart or local grocery stores. I love going in this store. The husband and wife that own the business always greet me by my name and genuinely seem happy to see me. My wife smokes and when I first started coming in they didn't carry her brand of cigarettes but now they make sure they have a carton waiting for me every couple of weeks.
