Absolutely horrible customer service. The "representative" of this company made fun of me, said I had mental health problems and told me to stay at the YMCA. Stay far away from this company.

WARNING! DO NOT MOVE HERE! Theft is HIGH, crime is HIGH. You are not allowed to have a camera…read moreoutside your door but expected to film with your phone any crime happening - this is unsafe as you risk being jumped by groups of criminals. The water is shut off every week for multiple days and several hours. The manager Phil makes women feel VERY uncomfortable. This place may have cheap rent but you are not safe, you have zero support from the leasing office, and the complex overall is not taken care of. Phil will tell you Phx PD does patrols. I called PD and confirmed they do NOT as they are "man power short." I told this to Phil, and he said Phx PD misinformed me. I think Phx PD knows more on the areas they patrol than a leasing agent. Attached is a photo of the failure to fix lights in the covered parking adjacent to the apartments next door. For months and months, I've asked for this to be fixed. Residents from the apts next door will use the hoods of cars to jump back and forth to commit crimes including assault and theft. At the basketball court, a man was jumped by 10 men in hooded masks. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM THIS PLACE! EDIT: Since you responded and said "We also take reports of maintenance concerns, including lighting, seriously and strive to address them as promptly as possible," I wanted to tell you that I have a paper trail of emails back and forth for MONTHS about the lighting and no changes so please don't respond with lies.

I lived at Montelano Apartments for about three years, and my experience was extremely…read moredisappointing and, at times, unsafe. Maintenance was a constant issue--work orders were often ignored or never completed. Beyond that, there was frequent crime both around and within the complex. I personally witnessed drug activity on multiple occasions, including deals that went wrong. One incident even resulted in someone being injured right outside my door. The most traumatic experience happened while I was at work during a 10-hour shift. My apartment was broken into, and I came home to find someone inside under the influence of drugs. During that break-in, this individual shot and killed my dog inside my apartment. It was devastating. When I brought this situation to the leasing office and requested to break my lease due to safety concerns, I was met with resistance. Instead of support, they attempted to issue me an eviction notice and even accused me of being responsible for the break-in. I had to go to court to resolve the situation, and thankfully I was able to settle without it damaging my credit or rental history. To make matters worse, management (including Philip) tried to charge me for damages caused by the break-in and even attempted to make me pay for a hazmat cleanup--something that should clearly fall under the apartment's responsibility. I was also told I would likely receive my deposit back, which turned out to be completely untrue, as I never received it. In my opinion, many of the five-star reviews do not reflect the reality of living here. If you speak directly with residents, you may hear a very different story. If safety, accountability, and proper management matter to you--especially if you have a family--I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Brandon was a lovely realtor…read more Buying and selling a home is a large decision and he was very insightful, smart, and considerate when looking. One of the best things is that he is excited and knowledgeable which (to be honest) is hard to find in a realtor. A lot of them just are so focused on the sale and less on the education and best options for your situation. I would trust Brandon for any purchase in the future.

We were referred…read moreto Brandon through several friends, and can't thank him enough for his time, attention to detail, and patience throughout our time working together. Brandon goes the extra distance - he does the research needed to fully understand comps, value, and isn't afraid to point out negatives or things to consider during shows. There were even houses we liked that weren't on the market or were in early stages of construction - he would go out of his way (literally scouring the internet and cold calling people) to find out the details of the house and set up showings. He's readily available for showings at the drop of a hat and is able to make strong connections with sellers agents. The market is tough right now, and he never once pressured us into buying. He acknowledged the reality of the situation and has a ton of empathy for buyers today - which was so appreciated. He truly is on your side. Sadly we made the decision to move out of state, and we have to find a new realtor in that market. We are so so bummed to not be able to work with Brandon anymore but will continue to recommend him to all of our friends and family looking to buy/sell in AZ. Thank you Brandon!!
