Very close to authentic korean food. The interior is very clean and spacious. The restaurant felt like it was newly opened recently. The service was very good. Although there was only 1 male server waiting and hosting, he did a good job of asking if we needed anything, three times during the meal. (We were there after 9pm, the late timing might explain the solo server.) The food was the most authentic korean food we have tried in Germany thus far. It still wasn't quite as good as in the States or Korea, but considering how many korean places we have tried in Germany (berlin, dresden, frankfurt, stuttgart, mannheim, born, heidelberg...), it was awesome. The price is €€~€€€, it wasn't expensive but it was more than the average. All in all, great korean restaurant. Hope it stays open a long time. Highly recommended.

Das heißt, man kann nur ein bis drei Mal dasselbe bestellen. Es war enttäuschend, da der letzte Chef keine besonderen Bedingungen hatte. Mit der Zeit habe ich Kollegen und andere Freunde zu Oishii eingeladen. Leider wird das nie mehr der Fall sein. Ich habe die Kellnerin höflich darauf angesprochen und sie hat laut und unhöflich gesagt, dass man nicht so oft dasselbe bestellen kann. Übrigens kommt noch eine Bedingung hinzu, wie andere Kunden erwähnt haben: Man muss ein Getränk bestellen, sonst muss man extra 4€ pro Person zahlen. Oft haben wir die bestellten Essen nie bekommen. Nicht nur einmal, sondern regelmäßig gab es Ausfälle. Es gab einen Besuch, bei dem die Kellnerin nicht-bestelltes Essen zu uns gebracht hat. Anschließend wurden wir von der Kellnerin geschimpft. Gestern war es besonders unangenehm, als wir beobachteten, wie der Kellner das Essen behandelte. Manchmal hat er das Essen unbeabsichtigt berührt und hat die Platten mit den leeren Tellern von anderen Kunden zusammen mit frischem Essen benutzt. In der Gastronomie sollte man verstehen, dass man niemals die gesammelten leeren Teller und die neuen Teller aus der Küche mischt. Wir haben insgesamt 62€ für 2 Personen bezahlt und hatten mehr erwartet. Wir haben den Chef gesehen und wollten mit ihm sprechen. Leider war es erfolglos, als wir über den schlechten Service berichten wollten. Wir haben bezahlt und das Restaurant verlassen. Auffällig war, dass dieselbe Kellnerin bei der Zahlung ein anderes Verhalten zeigte als zuvor, als sie an mir geschrien hatte. Man sollte sich hinterfragen, wer eigentlich wem dient.

Dinner is quite expensive, but the ambience is great and they've got those fish egg sushis and I love it. A good place to have some "Japanese" food in Karlsruhe if you're hungry.

Wow! What a great find! I was craving some good Schnitzel, so I looked on Yelp, and this place came…read moreup. I read about it and saw it had a Michelin rating, and the reviews were great! Plus, it was out of the city center, more of a neighborhood place. As fate would have it, I was on a walk and saw that this place was minutes away. It was early, around 5 PM, and they were just opening for dinner. I strolled the streets until I arrived, and walked in through the back, and straight into their beautiful courtyard. The courtyard was beautiful, several tables all set and ready for the dinner crowd. I walked toward the restaurant and saw the daily special board, but there were no staff, at least outside. I checked out the board and saw they had Pfefferlingcremesuppe, which is one of my favorite foods! A minute later, a woman walked out and greeted me. I told her I knew it was a Friday, but would there be a table for 2 available? She smiled and said I could come now or at 8:30- I chose 8:30 as 5 pm was a little too early to eat. I left and came back at 8:30, the place was buzzing, and the courtyard was packed! My dining partner couldn't make it, so it was just me. The same woman was there to greet me, she smiled when she saw me and brought me to a table in the middle of the courtyard. I was seated and given a menu. I ordered a cold beer and perused the menu. While there were many great things on the menu, I already knew what I wanted, so when she returned, I ordered the soup and the Schnitzel. The soup was delicious and a large serving, and when I finished, my Schnitzel arrived, with fried potatoes and bacon, and a nice salad. Even though I was by myself, I immensely enjoyed the atmosphere; this place is all local, all having a great time, and friends greeting each other. Service was on point, attentive without being overbearing, and friendly! I had another beer and enjoyed the ambiance, and then paid my bill and walked back to my hotel. Such a great dinner and experience! I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Baden Baden!

It was Sunday, and the sleepy town was pretty much shut down. There were a few restaurants open, but mostly Pizza, Kebab, and other fast foods. The downtown, open air shopping center is a few square city blocks, so I thought to just explore hoping to run into a German restaurant/ brasserie. I didn't want to Google anything. Luck was on my side, and I found this place open and with plenty of patrons sitting outside enjoying a midday meal. The menu has many choices even some non-meat selections. I ordered a Jagerschnitzel topped with a mushroom sauce. It took a while to arrive, but it arrived piping hot with an accompaniment of vegetables and side of fries. The menu is in German and French, though the staff attending me spoke German, French, & English. It's a relaxed place where apparently locals come to enjoy a late Sunday lunch. The schnitzel was perfectly fried and deliciously tender. Portions are huge, and definitely value for money for a real German treat. People here stay longer and socialize at an unhurried pace. There is nice indoor seating, but outside is the place to be when the weather is good.
