Dinner on the beach, indoors or on the sand. Great drinks and dishes are well prepared. Shrimp risotto was tasty 8/10, steak filet 8/10, fresh sea bass well done, tender, deboned, 9/10. Dessert were fluffy, light, not too sweet. Drinks excellent, had the mojito and a glass of Chardonnay. Service was not perfect, waitress that seated us had a slight attitude. Wow. What a place and what a dinner. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. Fantastic location, friendly and attentive staff, great menu, great wine and wonderful food. We arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night in mid October and they were able to seat us, but by the time we left around 9:15 or so, the place was packed. I had the snails followed by the scallops and the cheese plate. The snails were prepared with puff pastry and were quite possibly the best I've had - just enough garlic and not chewy at all. The scallops were prepared to perfection, buttery and smooth. My wife had the pate (which was heavenly), and a steak. Our three-year old daughter had fresh fish, with chips (substituted from the mashed potatoes). She ate the whole thing, clearly loved it, and she's no huge fan of fish. We're only here for a week and will definitely be heading here at least once more. read more

OOOOH We loved Cap Riviera- Cute little place just at the edge of the busy strip in Juan les Pins. We went with no reservation on a Thursday night and were seated immediately around 8pm (although the restaurant was packed the whole time we were there). We had beautiful views of the ocean and sparkling lights of the mountains, which were actually overshadowed by the delicious food. We had the 39 euro prix fix meal including an appetizer, entree, and delicious dessert. I had a delicious starter of salmon and sea bass tartare followed by scallop risotto and a dessert of fruit covered in champagne- my fiance had a warm octopus salad (perfectly cooked with those awesome giant capers), followed by branzino with fresh veggies and tarte chocolat- everything we ate was delicious. My fiance thought the scallop was the best he had ever had. Friendly service for Americans, and they humored my poor attempt at speaking French with class. One of the best parts of our meal was the bottle of local Rose. We would definitely return. read more

This is beautiful restaurant! The view is absolutely gorgeous! The staff are kind of friendly but since we booked last minute they had been pushing us to finish our dinner in an hour which is not that pleasing. Our server kept reminding us when our dinner " should finish" did not enjoy that . First we had 3 appetizers which were the octopus salad which was great! The texture was chewy and soft, would give it a 7/10. And also the the sashimi plater was great, 7/10. And the final one was the which was the "savici" absolutely amazing!! The flavor and texture was spot on! Definitely would recommend it, would 100% give it a 9/10. For our main course, I had the lobster linguine and it was one of the best pastas I've ever had! The pasta it self had a wonderful little spice to it which was lovely. And the meat of the lobster was really chewy. My paths had the lamb and fillet. They said that they really enjoyed the steak and they said that the lamb chop was a 9/10 and the fillet steak 6/10. For our dessert we had the lemon meringue and the "Carré d'agneau". The meringue had a creamy texture and was nice, would give it a 6/10. The " carré d'agneau " was really splendid! I really loved it! The ices cream and the creamy buns really worked create together especially with the chocolate sauce. Overall the food here is ambiant but did not enjoy the service by staff! read more

We dined at Cap Riviera in mid May and had a phenomenal experience. Our server Patris was EXCEPTIONAL and truly made the experience memorable. He was efficient and timely but more than that he was personable, kind and very funny. Even with a slight language barrier he knew exactly what we were looking for and far exceeded our expectations of excellent service. The food was amazing as well, artfully presented, fresh and delicious. Would absolutely go back the next time we visit Southern France. Probably best to get reservations, we were there early and they had a table for us but within 45 minutes every table was full. Awesome views as well! read more

Other reviews seemed to push that it's the views that make this restaurant great, but for us it was the fresh, delicious dishes. I had a simple but perfectly cooked piece of cod served with saffron sauce - highly recommend. The caramelized pear dessert was also incredible. read more

A real gem of a fine-dining restaurant in a location that is both nearly perfect once you're inside (if you sit by the windows, the waves literally break onto the beach below you) and kind of unassuming (to get there, you have to walk down towards the "boardwalk" by tacky t-shirt shops and much crappier restaurants). Food is very, very good - not world-class, Michelin-star quality, but very good (and certainly the best food to be had in Juan Les Pins other than perhaps at Belles Rives), and the service is really, really excellent. They were not overbearing or cold (more friendly than many fancier fine dining restaurants) but were extremely professional, competent, and helpful. Plus, they all spoke competent English, which helped with my mediocre French. We were able to get a table by the beach immediately, without reservations, on a Tuesday night, and I was extremely happy to celebrate my birthday here. If you're looking for something a little nicer than what's available elsewhere but don't want the formality of Belles Rives, or even if you just want a nice meal by the sea, definitely check this place out. read more

The food, ambiance and staff courtesy were the best I encountered during my stay in Antibes. As an American, the pace of service was not what I am accustomed to, but I cannot hold that against them; I completely understand there will be groups willing to spend two to three hours wining and dining. We played it safe and ordered fish soup, lobster linguine and grilled prawns. Hats off to the staff for delivering such a fabulous meal. read more
